In chapter 1, we describe our title of making a target drone which using the construction of A-4 Skyhawk Jetfighter, with a scale of 1/6 from the original aircraft. We describe the reason of doing this study and mention the objectives of this study. Problem statements mention the importance of UAV aircraft to the military service and how it can benefit them. Beside that we also mention the usage of fiberglass instead of aluminum alloy in fabricating the aircraft part which could reduce the fabrication cost and reduce aircraft weight for target drone. In chapter 2, we describe the literature review regarding our target drone. A target drone is an unmanned, remote controlled aerial vehicle, usually used in the training of anti-aircraft crews. In its simplest form target drones often resemble radio controlled model aircraft. More modern drones sometimes use counter measures, radars and similar devices to mimic real aircraft. Throughout the literature review, we discuss about the importance of our research as it can be use in military application which involve training and real mission. For the purpose of the real mission, these drones which are able to be deployed from cargo or aircrafts can be converted into controllable missiles. Thus it can reduce the risk of human life as they are using a control device to control the target drone flight. The scale model of the A-4 Skyhawk Jet Fighter is a

good model to be the drone since it used to be the jet fighter aircraft, hence it best to simulate the almost real condition of the opponent aircraft. In chapter 3, we describe the method involved from fabricating the part to installation and the flight testing. For the fabrication part, the two symmetry master molds are produced by using the plywood and micro balloon. This master molds are strengthen by using the fiberglass and resin. After that, a wet lay up processes are used to produces the fuselage skin and other target drone parts. Later, the two fabricated part are combined to produce a target drone and the control surface element and flight instrument are installed to the target drone. Engine push type will be installed to the sweptback wing and a flight test will be done to the target drone. In chapter 4, all the result and data regarding our research will be tabulated thoroughly. Target drone weight and all the lift and thrust calculation will use in order to make sure that the target drone engine is suitable to be use accordingly to the target drone itself. If there is any failure during the flight test, another target drone will be tested using a different adaptation from the earlier test subject. Calculation of thrust, angle of attack and other issue will be discussed in order to determine the successful of target drone flight. In chapter 5, we will describe the conclusion of our study regarding the target drone whether it is a successful or a failure.
