Discuss various objects of construction management. What are functions of construction management? Explain briefly each. Write short note on Work breakdown structure. List out construction management techniques and Explain Gantt bar chart with its uses. Explain LOB Techniques. A Project consist of eight activites P,Q,R,S,T,U,V and W with their times of completion as follows Activities P Q R S T U V W Duration (days) 3 5 3 5 7 5 6 5
The precedence relationship are as follows: P & Q are performed parallel R & S can not start until P is completed. T cannot start until half the work of activity R is complete. U can start only after activity S is complete. V succeds R. W is the last activity, which should succed T. (a) Draw bar chart (b) Give your comments and conclusion.

(iii) Start of activity R was delayed drastically and can be started after 3 days of completion of activity P but will require 4 more days instead of 5 days. (iv) Activity S is not started yet and will require 12 days instead of 6 days and can be started immediately after completion of Q. (v) Activity T is as per schedule. (vi) Activity U is not started yet and will require 7 days instead of 4 days (vii) All other activities are unchanged and the original time estimates for these activities still appeared to be accurate. Update the network, determine the revised critical path and calculate revised TE and TL for all events.
