July 17, 2012 Resolution #___ WHEREAS, on May 8, 2012, the Town Board of the Town of Islip held

a public hearing to consider enacting A Local Law Amending Chapter 28 of the Code of the Town of Islip Relating To The Dissolution Of The Division of Drug and Alcohol Counseling Services (ACCESS), The Division of Senior Citizens Services, The Division of Services to The Disabled, And The Division of Human Development From The Organizational Structure And Administration Of The Department Of Human Services; and WHEREAS, on May 8, 2012 the Town Board of the Town of Islip enacted a Local Law entitled A Local Law Amending Chapter 28 of the Code of the Town of Islip Relating To The Dissolution Of The Division of Drug and Alcohol Counseling Services (ACCESS), The Division of Senior Citizens Services, The Division of Services to The Disabled, And The Division of Human Development From The Organizational Structure And Administration Of The Department Of Human Services, effective November 1, 2012; and WHEREAS, the titles of Full-Time and Part-Time Neighborhood Aide, Full-Time and Part-Time Community Service Aide, Full-Time Director of Human Development, Full-Time Drug and Alcohol Program Coordinator, Full-Time Senior Citizen Program Director, Full-Time Administrative Aide, Full-Time Administrative Assistant, Full-Time Adult Day-Care Supervisor, Full-Time Coordinator of Alcoholism Services, , Full-Time Supervising Community Service Aide, Full-Time Drug and Alcohol Community Coordinator I, Full-Time Senior Citizen Center Manager, Full-Time Deputy Commissioner, Full-Time Senior Administrative Assistant, Full-Time Senior Citizen Program Supervisor, Full-Time Senior Account Clerk, FullTime Senior Clerk Typist, Full-Time and Part-Time Clerk Typist, Full-Time and Part-Time Clerk, Full-Time Principal Clerk, Full-Time Senior Citizen Bus Service Supervisor, Full-Time and Part-Time Minibus Driver, Full-Time Executive Assistant to Commissioner, Full-Time Secretary to Commissioner, Full-Time and PartTime Account Clerk, Full-Time Account Clerk Typist, Full-Time Alcoholism Counselor, Full-Time Drug & Alcohol Counselor II, Full-Time Community Relations Director, Full-Time Dir. Drug & Alcohol Counseling Services, Full-Time Director of Handicapped Services, Full-Time Health Financial Analyst, Full-Time and Part-Time Drug & Alcohol Counselor I, Full-Time Drug & Alcohol Counselor I (Spanish Speaking), Full-Time Mental Health Assistant, Part-Time Senior Citizen Aide, Part-Time Maintenance Mechanic I, Part-Time Clerk (Spanish Speaking), Part-Time Intensive Case Manager, Part-Time Senior Case Manager, Part-Time Food Service Worker, Part-Time Custodial Worker I, Part-Time Senior Citizen Aide II, Part-Time Registered Nurse, and Part-Time Psychiatrist I are no longer needed because of the dissolution of the various divisions in the Department of Human Services. On a motion by be it RESOLVED, that the titles of Full-Time and Part-Time Neighborhood Aide, Full-Time and Part-Time Community Service Aide, Full-Time Director of Human Development, Full-Time Drug and Alcohol Program Coordinator, Full-Time Senior Citizen Program Director, Full-Time Administrative Aide, Full-Time Administrative Assistant, Full-Time Adult Day-Care Supervisor, Full-Time Coordinator of Alcoholism Services, Full-Time Supervising Community Service Aide, Full-Time Drug and Alcohol Community Coordinator I, Full-Time Senior Citizen Center Manager, Full-Time Deputy Commissioner, Full-Time Senior Administrative Assistant, Full-Time Senior Citizen Program Supervisor, Full-Time Senior Account Clerk, FullTime Senior Clerk Typist, Full-Time and Part-Time Clerk Typist, Full-Time and Part-Time Clerk, Full-Time Principal Clerk, Full-Time Senior Citizen Bus Service Supervisor, Full-Time and Part-Time Minibus Driver, Full-Time Executive Assistant to Commissioner, Full-Time Secretary to Commissioner, Full-Time and PartTime Account Clerk, Full-Time Account Clerk Typist, Full-Time Alcoholism Counselor, Full-Time Drug & Alcohol Counselor II, Full-Time Community Relations Director, Full-Time Dir. Mental Health Assistant, Part-Time Senior Citizen Aide, Part-Time Maintenance Mechanic I, Part-Time Clerk (Spanish Speaking), Part-Time Intensive Case Manager, Part-Time Senior Case Manager, Part-Time Food Service Worker, Part-Time Custodial Worker I, Part-Time Senior Citizen Aide II, Part-Time Registered Nurse, and Part-Time Psychiatrist I are hereby eliminated from the Department of Human Services, effective November 1, 2012, inasmuch as these services are no longer being provided by the Department of Human Services; and FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Comptroller is hereby authorized to make the account entries necessary to amend the budget in accordance with the terms of this Resolution, effective November 1, 2012.
