Kythe-Ateneo is the student arm of Kythe, a non-profit organization which caters to the psychosocial needs of pediatric cancer patient through the Child Life Program. Based in Ateneo de Manila University, we are student-volunteers who advocate for cancer awareness through a number of projects.

Our roster of events has continually been supported by notable personalities and different organizations as it seeks to promote hope and support for the children. Our projects have been finalists of Project of the Year Award under the Council of the Organizations of the Ateneo (COA) for two consecutive years. Kythe-Ateneo has also been finalist to the Organization of the Year Award under the COA. Two years ago, it was recognized as the Most Outstanding Organization by the Loyola Schools Office of Student Activities (OSA). In 2006, Kythe-Ateneo was one of the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) of the Philippines.

Now on its twentieth year, Kythe-Ateneo seeks to forward its advocacies through better avenues, yet still grounded to its vision and mission of bringing back the childhood that every kid deserves.

This year, we will be having a fundraising activity called the Ky-Trip where we will be bringing the Kythe kids and their guardians to the Philippine Science Centrum in Marikina on August 4, 2012 at 2-3:30pm to let them experience an enjoyable and nurturing experience outside of the hospital grounds. In line with this, we are hoping for your support and assistance. This can be done through donations and solicitations to cover the tickets of the kids and their guardians, their transportation and food. For donations of at least Php 250.00, you will be given one (1) complimentary ticket and you will get to join the kids in their Ky-Trip!
