Methodology
The survey questionnaire has 6 Sections that has some close-ended questions with a 5-Point Response scale along with the 6th option of cant say, allowing the employee to mark this when her/she does not have any view on a particular question. There are also some open-ended questions under each section to capture more details from the employees for better understanding of their views and suggestions. To complete the survey, 3 options were available to the employees: 1. Responses to all questions could be filled in the ESAT Survey Questionnaire (soft copy) sent to everyone via an email from mypalhr id and the response could be filled in boxes by coloring it with the color RED and sent to ess.sb@fortishealthcare.com. 2. Hard Copies of the ESAT Forms were available in the HR Dept. These could be taken and filled in with pen and submitted back to HR Dept or dropped in the ESS Drop-Box placed in the Cafeteria. 3. HR Team members took a tour of the various floors along with the ESAT Forms during the Survey period and explained the Questions to the employees for better understanding and helped them in filling the Questionnaire on the spot. The forms were submitted to them or Dropped in the ESS Drop-Box placed in the Cafeteria. Writing name on the ESAT Form was optional, but it was mandatory to mention Department and other employee details and to fill in the Responses to ALL the questions. The ESS Questionnaire is enclosed herewith as annexure I at the end. ESAT Survey was announced open on March 26, 2012 and remained open for one month for employees. ESAT Survey Questionnaire Response submission last date was April 25, 2012. 293 out of 547 employees responded to the questionnaire.
