Gain and continually be growing in faith, moral excellence(virtue), knowledge, self-control, perseverance, Godliness, brotherly kindness, and love.

2 Peter 1:5-11 Find and keep sound wisdom, understanding, and discretion. Proverbs 3:13-28 Love, prize, embrace, and do not forsake wisdom. Proverbs 4:4-12 Dwell in the shelter of the Most High. Make the Lord your refuge and your dwelling place. Psalm 91:1-2,9-12 Come before the Lord with weeping (of lamentation, remorse, repentance, contrition, brokenness). Jeremiah 31:9 Walk with integrity, work righteousness, speak truth in your heart, do not slander, do no evil to your neighbor, do not take up a reproach against your friend, despise a reprobate, honor those who fear the Lord, swear to your own hurt, do not change, do not loan money at interest, do not take a bribe against the innocent. Psalm 15 I will bless the Lord who has counseled me; Indeed, my mind instructs me in the night. I have set the Lord continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Psalm 16:7-8 Set the Lord continually before you. Psalm 16:8 Trust in the Lord. Psalm 21:7 Cast your burden upon the Lord. Psalm 55:22 Fear the Lord, and greatly delight in His commandments. Psalm 112:1-6 Love Gods law. Psalm 119:165 Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge; and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, Godliness; and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins. Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you. 2 Peter 1:5-11

How blessed is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding. For its profit is better than the profit of silver, and its gain than fine gold. She is more precious than jewels; and nothing you desire compares with her. Long life is in her right hand; In her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, and happy are all who hold her fast. The LORD by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens. By His knowledge the deeps were broken up, and the skies drip with dew. My son, let them not depart from your sight; Keep sound wisdom and discretion, so they will be life to your soul, and adornment to your neck. Then you will walk in your way securely, and your foot will not stumble. When you lie down, you will not be afraid; When you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Do not be afraid of sudden fear, nor of the onslaught of the wicked when it comes. For the LORD will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being caught. Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due when it is in your power to do it. Do not say to your neighbor, Go, and come back, and tomorrow I will give it, when you have it with you. Proverbs 3:13-28 Then he taught me and said to me, Let your heart hold fast my words; Keep my commandments and live. Acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth. Do not forsake her, and she will guard you. Love her, and she will watch over you. The beginning of wisdom is: acquire wisdom; and with all your acquiring, get understanding. Prize her, and she will exalt you. She will honor you if you embrace her. She will place on your head a garland of grace. She will present you with a crown of beauty. Hear, my son, and accept my sayings, and the years of your life will be many. I have directed you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in upright paths. When you walk, your steps will not be impeded; and if you run, you will not stumble. Proverbs 4:4-12 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust! For you have made the LORD, my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place. No evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your tent. For He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, lest you strike your foot against a stone. Psalm 91:1-2,9-12 With weeping (of lamentation, remorse, repentance, contrition, brokenness) they shall come, and by supplication I will lead them; I will make them walk by streams of waters, on a straight path in which they shall not stumble; For I am a father to Israel, And Ephraim is My first-born. Jeremiah 31:9 O Lord, who may abide in Thy tent? Who may dwell on Thy holy hill? He who walks with integrity, and works righteousness, and speaks truth in his heart. He does not slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his friend; in whose eyes a reprobate is despised, but who honors those who fear the Lord; He swears to his own hurt, and does not change; He does not put out his money at interest, nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken. Psalm 15 I have set the Lord continually before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Psalm 16:8 For the king trusts in the Lord, and through the lovingkindness of the Most High he will not be shaken. Psalm 21:7 The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice. The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not slip. Psalm 37:30-31 2

Cast your burden upon the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. Psalm 55:22 Praise the Lord! How blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. Light arises in the darkness for the upright; he is gracious and compassionate and righteous. It is well with the man who is gracious and lends; he will maintain his cause in judgment. For he will never be shaken; the righteous will be remembered forever. Psalm 112:1-6 Those who love Thy law have great peace, and nothing causes them to stumble. Psalm 119:165
