Activities of the Department: February 3 rd & 4th 2012: Mr. P. Vinay Kumar Student of IT-III Year II Sem participated in the event code debugging at KITS EKATRA-12 secured Second place organized by KITS Khammam. March 2nd & 3rd 2012:
SBIT has organized Talent@SBIT-12 A National Level Technical Symposium on 2nd & 3rd March. Various Events were conducted. Nearly 500 Students from various colleges were participated. As part of this IT Department has conducted Paper Presentation, Poster Presentation Quiz, and exciting Spot Events. Nearly 150 Students were Participated in these Events

Student of IT- IV year II Sem Md.Khaja Nayeemuddin has participated in the Paper Presentation event of TALENT@SBIT-12 anational level technical symposium at Swarna Bharathi Institute of Science & Technology organized by the department of IT and secured first prize. March 10th 2012 A one day Workshop on Cloud Computing is conducted by the faculty member Mr.Ch.Kiran Kumar Department of IT in SBIT Khammam. March 16th & 17th 2012: Mr. G. Srinivasa Rao Student of IT-III Year II Sem participated in the event Project Expo STRINGZ a National level Technical Symposium awarded Second place organized by Sree Kavathi Engineering College, Khammam.

Mrs. B.J.D Kalyani , Associate Professor, Department of IT participated in a National Conference on Social Networking at Aurora Engineering College , Bhongir Nalgonda District and presented a paper title Extending Social Interfaces Designing with Community components framework under the part of IEEE , ACE & CSI

Kiran Kumar , Assistant Professor, Department of IT participated in a National Conference on Social Networking at Aurora Engineering College , Bhongir Nalgonda District and presented a paper title Data Security Breaches & Solutions in Online Social Networks under the part of IEEE , ACE & CSI March 21st 2012:

Mr. V. Sitha Ramulu , Associate Professor, Department of IT participated in a Techie Track Hands On ! Contest of INSPIRE - THE FACULTY CONTEST SERIES at the Regional Level in 2011- 2012 conducted by Infosys Hyderabad as a part of Campus Connect program.

Mohan Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of IT participated JavaOne and Oracle Develop 2012 India, HICC, Hyderabad May 13th 2012 A pre-placement activity was conducted for final year IT students and also on the same day an Alumni meet is conducted by Mr.V. Paper accepted and it is under review in IEEE Paper Title: Web Usage Pattern discovery and Results. May 20th 2012 Mrs. Y. Lakshmi Prasanna , Associate Professor, Department of IT published a paper titled A middle tire approach for Scheduling the Work-log of employees using location based services in IEEE International Conference on Engineering Education : Innovating Practices & Future Trends, (2010 460X)

June 2nd 2012 Mrs. Y. Lakshmi Prasanna , Associate Professor, Department of IT published 2 paperd titled A Review on Security Problems in Cloud Computing and A Novel Approach for Load Balancing in Clolud Computing Systems International Journal of Advanced Computing with Impact factor of 1.654 June 20th 2012 Mr. Ch. Kiran Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of IT, paper accepted titled A Holistic Approach on Service Level Agreement and their impact on security clouds at a conference conducted by Vignan University. Guntur. June 28th 2012 Mr.V.Sita Ramulu , Associative Professor , Department of IT, Mr.Ch. N. Santhosh Kumar , Associative Professor , Department of CSE paper accepted and will publish in International Journal of Soft Computing and Engineering Exploring Innovation, ISSN: 2231-2307 Paper Title: A Study of Semantic Web Mining: Integrating Domain Knowledge into Web Mining. This paper will publish in Volume-2, Issue-3, July 2012.
