Purpose: The 5 Transitional tasks is an intentional process to help give vision and direction for current and future life of the church. Basis: We must go first to the Scriptures, and let them dictate decisions we make. So we will consistently focus on the Scriptures throughout the entire process, and then prayerfully trust God to guide us in making proper application to our local church setting.

This process will seek to answer: Where do we see God leading us as a church? How will we evaluate progress & measure success? What kind of pastor is needed at this time ? What does our new pastor have to be, to do, to be considered a good pastor? What is the process that we will follow as we search for a new pastor? How will we conduct the transition between the interim and the new pastor? What do we need to do to be prepared for the new pastor and beginning new ministry together?
