SURAH AL-IMRAN THE FAMILY OF IMRAN.

. TAFSIR BY AMINA ELAHI VERSES 42-50 And remember when the angels said O Maryam, indeed Allah has chosen you, purified you and chosen you above the women of the worlds. O Maryam, submit yourself with obedience to your lord and prostrate yourself and bow down along with those who bow down. This is part of the news of the unseen which we reveal unto you. You were not with them when they cast lots with their pens as to which of them should be charged with the care of Maryam, nor were you with them when they disputed (this was when the scholars over there were deciding who should be Maryams guardian). Remember when the angels said O Maryam indeed Allahs gives you the good news of a word from Him. From him he will be the massih, Isa, son of Maryam, held in honour in this world and the hereafter and he will be one of those who are near to Allah. He will speak to the people in the cradle and in manhood and he will be one of the righteous. She said o my Lord, how shall i have a son when no man has touched me. He said so will it be for Allah creates what he wills. When he has decreed something he says to it only be and it is. And Allah will teach him the book and the wisdom and the Torah and the Injil. What book is this; the Quran and the sunnah so we learn that when Isa AS will come again he will implement the Quran and the sunnah. And Allah will make Isa a messenger to the children of Israel saying I have come to you with a sign from your Lord that i designed for you a figure out of clay, like that of a bird. And breathe into it and it becomes a bird by Allahs leave. And i heal him who was born blind, and the leper and i bring the dead to life by Allahs leave (again and again he is saying by Allahs leave, Allah is granting me that power, Allah is willing that thing to happen; its not any supernatural miracle on his own behalf). And i inform you what you eat and what you store in your houses. Surly therein is a sign for you if you believe. And i have come, confirming that which was before me of the Torah and to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden to you and i have come to you with a proof from your lord. So fear Allah and obey me. Fear is for Allah alone. Reverence is for Allah alone and obedience is for the Prophet. Thats how we understand the difference in our relationship between the Allah and Prophet Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. We love Allah, we adore Allah, we worship Allah, and how do we obey him? By following the Prophet Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
