Business communication is any communication used to build partnerships, intellectual resources, promote an idea, a product, service, or an organisation with the objective of creating value for your business. Business communication includes internal communication such as; interpersonal communication, written communication, conflict management as well as external communication such as presentations, sales, negotiation, customer service and even handling the media. In fact business communication is any form of communication you do at work. Whether you work in a small team or large organisation your business communication skills are a critical factor to your leadership and success.
