MAURICE LIBBEY Maurice C. Libbey, 83, of Neoga, formerly from Maine, passed away at 6:34 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2012, in Gowin Parc of Mattoon. The family is honoring Mr. Libbeys request, to donate his body to Medical Science. There will be a Memorial Service held at a later date. He was born August 23, 1928, in Waterville, Maine, the son of Daniel G. and Isabel Amanda (Morrison) Libbey. He married Martha Soto; she preceded him in death in 1992. He later married Donna Lou Rowe, December 3, 1994 in Charlestonl. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church of Neoga, and a member of the Eastern Illinois University Annuitants Association of Charleston. Mr. Libbey was a retired Librarian. He worked at the Booth Library in Charleston for 28 years. He received his Masters Degree in Science from Columbia University a certificate of Advanced study from the University of Illinois. Surviving is wife; one son, Peter of Glenwood, Arizona; one daughter, Elizabeth A. Marchiori of Batavia; one stepson, Robert W. Zimmerman of East Peoria; one stepdaughter, Mary L. Zimmerman of Malvern, Iowa; two brothers, David of Maryville, Tennessee and Bradley of Lynn, Massachusetts; one sister, Ann C. McAnally of Cape Coral, Florida; and four grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, or to the Parkinsons Foundation, in care of Mrs. Donna Libbey, 106 Heartland Dr., Neoga, IL 62447.

Funeral Home, Casey, with Rev. Dan Smith officiating. Burial was in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery, Casey. Visitation was held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home. He was born June 24, 1935 in New Douglas, IL, the son of Murriel Chester Mansholt and W. Margaret Reynolds Mansholt. On November 24, 1953, he married Shirley Ann Hickox in Hoguetown; she passed away on February 1, 2012. Surviving is one daughter, Valerie Owen of Sacramento, California; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; one brother, Herbert Mansholt of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; and one sister, Patricia Massey of Pinellas Park, Florida. He was also preceded in death by his parents. He was a pipeline superintendent for Murphy Brothers Pipeline Construction, East Moline. He was a US Naval Reservist; a member of Local #157 Welders Union, Terre Haute, Indiana; the Operators Union, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; the Masonic Lodge, #442, Casey; the Elks Club; the Casey Country Club and a member of the Long Lake Lutheran Church in Sarona, Wisconsin.

Greenup American Legion Post #566 and a lifetime member of the Greenup VFW Post #4598 and enjoyed farming. Frank married Phyllis J. Curtner on June 25, 2005 and she survives. Frank is survived by his wife, Phyllis J. Levingston of Neoga; one daughter, Shirley Ann Beuscher of Galesburg; six stepchildren, John Curtner of Jacksonville, Florida, Nancy Dow of Neoga, Mike Curtner of Charleston, South Carolina, Gloria Williams of Mattoon, Rob Curtner of Dutton, Alabama, and Tina Crisman of Oakdale, Connecticut; six brothers, James L. Levingston of Mattoon, Guy Levingston of Jewett, David Levingston of Dieterich, Gary Levingston of Toledo, Raymond Levingston of Montrose, and Melvin Levingston of Jewett; three sisters, Blanche Bicking of Downers Grove, Lucy Brooks of St. Louis, Missouri, and Loretta Martinovsky of Downers Grove; two grandchildren, Wendy and Holly; several stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Victor Levingston. Parker Finley Lauren Finley Parker Brian Finley and Lauren Rose Finley, infant twin children of Patrick Brian and Leah Rose (Semple) Finley passed away at 11:30 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2012 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Private family services will be held. Arrangements are under the care of the BlakeBuchanan Funeral Home in Newton. Parker Brian was born at 10:17 .m. Friday, July 27, 2012 and Lauren Rose was born at 10:32 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2012 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Parker Brian and Lauren Rose are survived by their parents, Patrick Brian and Leah Rose Finley of Newton; Grandparents, P.B. and Mary Finley of Newton and George and Lora Semple of West Liberty; Greatgrandparents, Rod and Sara Kelley of Olney, Ralph and Georgianna Weber of Wakefield, and Mary Semple of West Liberty. Parker and Lauren were preceded in death by their greatgrandparents, Paul and Jenny Finley and Chester Semple.

Surviving are three sons, Garl, Gregory, and Douglas, all of Effingham; six daughters, Joyce Deters and Jane Lilley, both of Effingham, Mary Ann Wines, Gail James and Betty Lilley, all of Watson, and Patricia Miller of Effingham; five sisters, Helen McKinney of Columbia City, Indiana, Margaret Willenborg of Neoga, Norma Otterson of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Clara Stewart of Helotes, Texas, and Joann Jamison of Teutopolis; one brother, George Jake Bueker of Toledo; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and one sister. Memorials may be made to the donors choice.

WALTER LEVINGSTON Walter Franklin Frank Levingston, age 86, of Jewett, passed away at 2:10 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2012 at the Odd FellowRebekah Home in Mattoon. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2012 at the Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup, with Rev. Tim Pearce officiating. Burial was in Jewett Cemetery in Jewett, with full military rites by the Cumberland County Veterans Association. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
