Course description: Introduction to radio frequency engineering; advantages; frequency bands; propagation; transmission line; waveguides, and other microwave components; their characterization; S-parameters and their use; Microwave Filters; Radars. Scope and objective of the course: The course aims to provide an introduction to microwave theory and techniques, including network theory, transmission line, passive devices and active devices. .
