Timeframe: This entire unit will take 15 class meetings. Learning Activities: Teacher Resource: A Weebly page that will contain an informational Glogster and
a Delicious social bookmark that will aid in the start of their on-line research. This Weebly will also be used to collect and organize all student work- contain pages for all students where they can showcase their products, and comment on each others work via Voicethread. Create several ScreenCastle clips to aid in the scaffolding process.

Process:
Students are asked to logon to teachers Weebly, view the Glogster then make notes on their own pages about the information gained through viewing. Using teachers Delicious tagroll students begin their search on the web for more information pertaining to Robert Frost. Using their prior experience in validating resources, students search the web on their own to find five (5) sites that aid in their learning- then create their own tagroll and embed it into their own Weebly page.

Students visit each others page to learn from their tagroll Students must then read 10 Robert Frost poems, list them on their page and write a fivesentence paragraph on five of them. They can do this in a drop down paragraph box or use Scribd to create a link to writing. Students then select one poem in an effort to master the meaning, the purpose, the authors craft. Students may use on-line resources to learn what others have said about poem Students must meet with teacher individually to discuss poem Students then create a storyboard that will be used in an I movie that will help illuminate the poems meaning and mood Students use digital cameras or I phones etc. to film the scenes of their film Students edit video using I Movie Students practice reciting poem, then record it using the built-in I movie microphone or Audacity (students must save Audacity files as audio file and upload into I movie). Students then add the recorded recitation into their I Movie Students then add text to movie: title of their work, the name of the poem and poet Students then upload completed video onto Vimeo and embed video onto their pages Students then upload their video onto Voicethread where they are the first to comment on it. They must say a brief statement about the process and the rational for their creation Students then link their Voicethreads with their pages Students must then visit five other Voicethreads, view and comment After students complete the Voicethread commenting process they must ensure the updated thread is embedded onto their pages and Publish.
