As many of you know, we left Ocala, Florida on July 23rd. It took us four days to get to Columbia, MO where my parents live. We joined the membership of my Dads church (Northwood Baptist Church) on July 29th, and on July 31st we headed out on full-time deputation. It has been one month since we said good bye to our church family at Central. Since leaving Florida we have traveled over 2,000 miles and have seen 10 different states. Early in August we traveled to Estherville, IA and enjoyed the sweet fellowship of Calvary Baptist Church and Pastor Steve Britton. From there we traveled 200 miles to Omaha, NE and participated in a pastors fellowship on Friday. I had the opportunity to lead music and meet a dozen pastors from the Nebraska-Kansas area. We made several great contacts. Saturday I was able to go doorknocking with Pastor Doug Robertson. I shared the gospel with a man named Sergio. He testified of being Catholic and counting on his good behavior to save him. We are praying that he will soon come to Christ. That weekend we enjoyed the morning service at West Omaha Baptist Church and Sunday night we traveled to Lincoln to visit with Cornerstone Baptist Church in Lincoln, NE for the evening service. I met with the pastor, Andy Rodriguez, and was greatly encouraged by the work going on in Lincoln. On August 14th we traveled to Junction City, KS to be a part of a missions conference for Junction City Baptist Church. This new church started less than one year ago, and we were excited to be a part of their first annual missions conference. It was a blessing to hear Dr. Don Sisks preaching and see 7 people come to know Christ as there Savior. This week we have been back in Columbia regrouping and preparing for a 14 week trip that will take us to southern Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Florida, Alabama, and Tennessee before Thanksgiving. While we have been extremely busy, hooking up the RV, going to meetings, and traveling, we have also been able to enjoy time with our family. We visited the Amazing Pizza Machine in Omaha, and went spent a few hours at the Lancaster County Fair in Lincoln. There is nothing like a Ferris wheel and funnel cake. We also visited the Eisenhower Library in Abilene, Kansas.

Please continue to pray for us as we travel the country and schedule meetings. We are still looking for a few more churches to fill our schedule in September, October, and November. If you know of any pastors from Missouri to Florida that would be a good contact, please let us know. This week I was able to schedule 11 meetings. We have 20 open services left in 2012. Currently we are at approximately 15% support. God has allowed us to get off to a great start. Several other churches have contacted us about supporting us towards the end of 2012 and the middle of 2013. We are so grateful for churches and individuals who have given sacrificially to this ministry and the task that God has given us to do in St. Charles County, Missouri.
