(I Full Assurance
There is one thing God's elect have no room for in
their lives at this particular time. That one thing is doubt.
Father's full assurance through His Word should remove
any doubt from our minds. We can be confident in Him.
He meant exactly what He said in His Word, and that
is the way it will be. We can all take comfort in this
fact. Let's begin our study in the Book of I Corinthians.
I Corinthians 2:1 And I, brethren, when I came to you,
_ ~~me. not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring
unto you the testimony of God.
Paul didn't utilize a lot of big words that were difficult
to understand. He sure didn't speak with the wisdom of
the traditions of men. He taught in the simplicity of the
teachings of Jesus Christ.
I Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know anything
among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. J. And
I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much
trembling.
Paul wasn't supernatural. He was just a common man.
I Corinthians 2:4 And my speech and my preaching was
not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in dem­
onstration of the Spirit and of power:
The power of the Holy Spirit is there for you, when
you ask for it in Jesus name. Ask in full assurance
without doubt and full of faith. Trust in Him! We aren't
playing church. Christianity is a reality.
I Corinthians 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the
wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
The foolish wisdom of men will always lead to trouble.
Empty promises, false teaching and enticing words lead
- peuple away frurrriiod's truth. They promise you are
going to flyaway. God's Word gives you the gospel
armor and power to stand against the fiery darts of Satan.
I Corinthians 2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among
them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world
nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
Translate the word "perfect" as "mature". Mature
Christians know they aren't going to fly off to some other
planet. They know heaven is going to be right here on
earth. It is written, and they take full assurance in that.
I Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in
a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained
before the world unto our glory:
Before this world age, God ordained His election.
They didn't follow Satan in the first world age. They were
chosen, because God knows He can depend on them.
I Corinthians 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world
knew: for had they known it, they would not have cru­

cified the Lord of glory.
The princes of this world are Satan and his offspring,
the Kenites. They wouldn't have crucified Jesus, had they
known it would bring about their own destruction (Hebrews
2:14). Through death Jesus destroyed him that has power
over death, that is to say the devil.
I Corinthians 2:9 ~ut as it is written, "Eye hath not seen,
nor ear heard, neIther have entered into the heart of man
the-Jhing8-wRic-Jt~od- hath prepared fOF~8m that love.
Him."
Father dearly loves those that are fully assured. We
are plugged in to the power of the Holy Spirit. That power
will allow us to overcome the anti christ.
I Corinthians 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us
by His Spirit: for the Spirit seacheth al/ things, yea, the
deep thmgs of God.
God gives us the ability to find full assurance through
His Word and His Spirit. We are totally convinced and
confident. We have no doubts. Turn with me to I Thessalonians.
Paul is the writer, and God is the Author.
I Thessalonians 1:3 Remembering without ceasing your
work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope
in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our
Father; ~ Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.
Again, the election are chosen of God. They earned
it in the first world age. Does that make them special? No,
it means they have work to do for God.
I Thessalonians 1:5 For our gospel came not unto you
in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost
and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men
we wer~ C!l11ong you for you!:_sal<e. ._
The power of God and the Holy Spirit is what gives
us assurance. We can be confident knowing that God is
in control. It isn't just words. It is God's power and
assurance! You are going to need that power and assur­
ance, when Satan is booted out of heaven onto earth.
I Thessalonians 1:6 And ye became followers of us and
of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction
with joy of the Holy Ghost: z So that ye were ensample~
to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia.
Did you know you as one of God's election are an
example to other Christians? You are confident and fully
assured. You can help others find truth in God's Word.
Turn with me to the Book of Colossians.
Colo~sians 2:1 For I would that ye knew what great
conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and
for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;
Paul was concerned for the people. He was zealous to
share truth. He suffered many burdens for his labors.

f,;olossians 2'2 Thet their hearts might be comforted,
being knit together in love. and unto all riches of the full
assurance of understanding. to the acknowledgement of
the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ,
God has a plan, Nothing can alter that plan. That is
the reason that you can be fully assured.
Colossians '1.'3 In Whom are hid al/ the treasures of
I wisdom- and knowledge,
That is the reason God wrote this letter to you. He
wants to share His treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
His wisdom makes you a confident 'overcomer. You have
no doubts,
Colossians 2.'4 Al1c/ this I say, lest any man should
beguile you with enticing words.
Don't be beguiled. Don't allow enticing words to tell
you that you don't have to understand the Book of Revelati(ln,
Some would ask, "How cali r tell the difference between
enticing words and truth?". Check it out in God's Word,
Not once did God say, "You don't need to understand the
Book of Revelation", Plenty of men have.
Colossians 2:5 For thougll I be absent in the flesh, yet
am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your
order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.
Order is discipline. Discipline is a wonderful thing, It
sets you apart from others, Falher can count on you.
Colossians 2:6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jeslls
the Lord, so walk ye in Him; z Rooted and built up in
Him, and stablished in the faith, as ye !Iave been taugilt,
abounding therein witt) thanksgiving.
Faith demostrates you are assured in Father.
Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through
philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men,
after the rudiments of tfn~ world, and not after Christ'
Many haven't listened to this warning. On what should
be the highest sabbath of the year, Passover, we have a
majority of Christians rolling heathenistic Easter eggs, The
traditions of men have become their religion.
Colossians 2:9 For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the
Godhead bodily. 1Q And ye are complete in Him, Which
is head of all principality and power:
You are complete in Christ. That means you don't need
anything else. The traditions of men don't entice you.
Colossians 2:11 In Whom also ye are circumcised with
tile circumcision made without hands, in putting off the
body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of
Christ:
The circumcision in this verse is of the heart, and it
is for both men and women. It means you love Christ.
Colossians 2:12 Buried with Him in baptism, wherein also
ye are risen with Him through the faith of the operation
of God Who hath raised Him from the dead. 11 And you,
being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your
flesh, hath He quickened together with Him, having for­
given you a/l trespasses;
Don't let anyone try to make you a second class
Christian. When you are forgiven of all your sins, you are
a first class Christian.

Christ fulfilled many of the ordmances, He changed
nothing of the iaw. when you repent, your sms are
erased from the book. You have a fresh start.
Colossians 2:15 And i:.J~·ing ..spoiled pJincipalities and
powers, He made D (,f tl1em openly, triumphing
over them in it. 1§ Let no man therefore judge you in
meat, or in drink, or in resper:t of an holyday, or of the
new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Don't get hung up Oll sabbath. Too many try to make
a reiigioll out of a day. Sabbatit means rest. If you don't
put your rest in Christ everyday, you have no true rest.
One day of the week won't get you through the trouble
that li.es ahead, my friends.

IN( are all one body, We can't afford any weak links.
Col()§'lin;!.§.-220 Wherefom if ye be dead with Christ
from th~' rudiments of the world, why, as though living
in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, 21 (Touch not;
taste not· handle not; ?2 Which al/ are to perish with the
using;) Edter the commandments and doctrines of men?
Don't allow anyone to impose dogmas on you. Chris­
tianity makes you free, not subject to doctrines of men.
Colossians 2.'23 Whioh lhiRgs-ltave indeed a -sfltTw ~ef
wisdom in will worship and humility, and neglecting of
the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
Will worship is self-imposed worship. Stick with God's
Word, being fully assured tnat He chose you a long time
ago, In conclusion, let's go to the Book of Hebrews.
Hebrews 10:21 And having an High Priest over the
house of God; " Let us draw near with a true heart in
full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from
an evil conSCience, and our bodies washed with pure
water. ?1 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith
without wavering; (for He is faithful That promised;).
You can count on God's promises. That is the reason
you can be fully assured and never waver.
