Both for the V3 and V2 site, the ID_DOG have 15 bits in logical.

There are two switches S1 and S2 physically.

For each bit of S1 and S2, status ON means 0, OFF means 1 S1 bits 18 are mapped ID_DOG logical bits 07; S2 bit 18 are mapped ID_DOG logical bits 815;

BTS_NO

No. of the cabinet of the same site

The number of the E1 port of the basic cabinet to connect the lower-level site cannot be the same as of SLAVE_PORT1 or SLAVE_PORT2. For example, suppose Port F of the basic cabinet connects with the lower-level site, then the values of SLAVE_PORT1

and SLAVE_PORT2 cannot be 01. For example,site1 and site2 are BTS B8018,site2 is the downsite of site1.Both sites use the common Abis,site1 E1 port A connect to BSC,site2 E1 port A connect to site1 port D. The O&M timeslot of site2 is TS31.Then the dip switches are Site1: S1(18) 00000000 S2(18) 00000011 Site2: S1(18) 10000000 S2(18) 00000011
