Hardscape is the practice of landscaping,refers to the paved areas like streets and sidewalks,large business complexes & housing developments,and other industrial areas where the upper soil profile is no longer exposed to the actual surfaces of the earth. A wide range of hard landscape materials can be used such as, Brick,Gravel,Rock n Stone,Concrete,Timber,Glass, Metal etc."HARD LANDSCAPE" can also describe outdoor furniture and other landscape products.

HARDSCAPE
Landscape Architects create places for people to live,work n play and places for plants & animals to thrive. Landscape Architects study, plan, design and manage spaces which are both sustainable and aesthetically pleasing. Landscape Architects are also advocates for the environment and speak up for and care for our landscapes.

Softscape refers to the elements of landscape that comprise live, horticultural elements.Soft landscape material are used to describe plant materials. Softscaping can include,flowers,plants, shrubs,trees,flower beds. The purpose of softscape is to lend character to the landscaping,create an aura,ambience,and reflects the sensibilities of the inhabitants. The range of soft landscape materials includes each layers of the ecological sequences: aquatic plants, semi aquatic plants,field layer plants, shrubs and trees. SOFTSCAPE
