ASSEMBLY OF FIRST NATIONS ACTION PLAN ON INAC SUITE OF LEGISLATION DECEMBER 11, 2002

OBJECTIVES:
1) To provide direct actions, in order to, convince Canadians in general, as well as, the Prime Minister, Cabinet, federal party caucuses, the House of Commons and the Senate, to stop and withdraw Canadas proposed colonial, offensive suite of legislation, which presently includes the governance (C-7), fiscal (C-19) and claims (C-6) Bills; and 2) To convince Canada to pursue an alternative dialogue and actions with First Nations and First Nation organizations, based upon the recommendations of the Penner Report on Indian Self-government and portions of the Final Report and Recommendations of the Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples; and recent case law i.e. Delgamuukw and Marshall.
