Analysis of Teacher Feedback over 30 Districts Fixing of a time frame/ladder for English Streamlining Evaluation for a Skill-based curriculum Textbook analysis to Correlate and fix competencies in the cards Link the themes to the milestones in the ladder Evolve the word list for the respective years
Other criteria for word selection

a. English words that could already be part of the vernacular like bus, station, market, cycle, shop, repair, phone, school, chair, table, balloon, watch, beach, etc., and b. English words that are a part of the childs day-to-day environment and experience, like mother, father, sister, brother, door, cow, cat, banana, house, mango, etc.,
