Introduction A bout Cambodia Tourism

Cambodia tourism is booming and the country is becoming one of the travel destinations in Asia. Now, more and more people become aware of the charms that the Khmer empire and the Cambodia tourism infrastructure have to offer visitors. South East Asia has long been a popular destination for western tourists who are drawn by the exoticism and weather of the region, as well as its affordability. Thailand experienced its tourists boom in the seventies and eighties and has never looked back; in the nineties it was Vietnams turning its attention to Cambodia.

Cambodia tourism became a viable vacation option after the Khmer Rouge regime was largely stamped out and Pol Pot was captured in the late nineties. Each year Cambodia receives around 2 million international tourists and tourism is becoming one of the countrys most important industries. There are many reasons that Cambodia attracts so many tourists, among them are incredible sites, great beaches, rich culture, fascinating history and a wonderful and warm people who are so welcoming.

Cambodia tourism in the south of the country relies on the beautiful beaches that draw tourists to their shores. Places like Sihanoukvill offer pristine beaches with clear waters and golden sands without the overcrowding problems experienced by some of Cambodias neighbors. It is still possible to find isolated beaches where you can swim, snorkel, bathe, and forget that the outside world exists.

What is our Business?

I. A bout our Business Plan


SIHANOUKVILL is amazing! With stunning beaches and laid back town that has lots to do. It is also known as Kampong Som and is a port city in southern Cambodia on the Gulf of Thailand, 185 kilometers southwest of Phnom Penh. It has a different look and feel than most Cambodian towns. Constructed as a port city in the late 1950s, the town is much newer, more urban and cosmopolitan provincial cities. Sihanoukvill is spread-out town for both foreigners and local people from all over the country. Three sides of the town are bordered by tropical beaches and islands. There are a lot of beaches, crowded beaches, empty beaches, seafood, hotels and islands which is very interesting for the visitor. Filled with so many potential with it, that is why we want to do our business in this wonderful town. What we want to do is a small restaurant but the perfect one. Sound interesting?

II. A bout the location

As we can see many people go to Sihanoukvill for relaxing and enjoying the good view of the sea and eating delicious seafood, so an idea popped out in our brain, why dont we try to open a restaurant? A special one too! The best location for our restaurant is near the beach and we chose Victory beach.

The Victory Beaches are two long beaches divided by a rocky point and a small hill, so named for Victory Monument that sits in the boulevard park near the midpoint. Different section of the beach called different names. The southern section is known as Hawaii Beach. The northern section near Victory Monument is called as Victory Beach and is the most popular area with travelers. The section known as Victory Beach sits at the base of the popular Victory Hill (Weather Station Hill). Victory is a nice little beach, only a few hundred meters long but wide at points, offering a variety of beach side services and one of the best sunset views in town. It will be great if we build a restaurant in that area, it can make visitor feel relax and enjoy the delicious seafood along with the gorgeous view of the sea.

III. A bout the Restaurant


Fantasy Restaurant is the name that we use for our restaurant, because of our imagination. All we want to do is a perfect restaurant just like an illusion, but in fact it is a real restaurant. In this restaurant, can make the consumers enjoy eating a lot of delicious seafood and drinking soft drinks, juices, good wine and feel relaxing with soft music. We also focused in the designing of the restaurant. The huge terrace is very great for visitors; they will enjoy the fresh and calm atmosphere of the restaurant. With a beautiful view of the sea, we will just make it naturally without do something much. The equipment that we use such as table, chair, lamp, fans, air-conditioner, vacuum cleaner, ranges, fryers, dish machines, ice machines and more. All of them are just low prices but very good brands. We will find it at RestaurantSource.com.

2. Restaurant Service When it comes to restaurant service, many people have many different opinions and ideas for how things should be done. We will have a good service just like: -Waiting Staff: Make sure that they have good customer relation skills not only good attitude and good balance. Customer relation is important in any job where you are selling something to someone.

-Cleanliness: The overall cleanliness of the facility is part of the service that we provide in our restaurant. The atmosphere is very important so we make sure that our customer will enjoy eating in our restaurant. -Atmosphere: This is the way our establishment looks and feel. We play some kind of soft music relaxing that is not creates confusing atmosphere where the customers could have problems hearing and understanding each other. -Waiter or Waitress and the server: Good manner skillful and have many years of experience. -Customer service: Every person on our restaurant staff is responsible for how the customer is treated. They deserve to be treated politely and with respect. -Food and Drinks Have a nice chat with the delicious seafood, dishes (Asian and Western), great wine, healthy juices and cocktail. For drinks, we have juices like, orange, apple, coconut juices and best quality of wine and cocktail.

There are a lot of tastes of the seafood for the customer, such as, fish that bring healthy heart for the eater. Shrimp and crab that are fresh and they are very delicious. Lobsters, oyster and trout that will make the customer feel mouth-watering. For drinks, we have juices like, orange, apple, coconut juices and best quality of wine and cocktail.

3. Management and Marketing Fantasy Restaurant provides multiple services like Seafood, cocktail, wine, juice, and many other soft drinks. It is open from 8:00 am till 12:00 am every day. For Saturday and Sunday night we will make surprise party for our customers like dancing (with traditional music around the world) until midnight. Most importantly is to make the customers enjoy night life near the sea. They said sea is wonderful and magical! It will make people reduce stress and their hard work in during the whole days of the week. About the price in our restaurant compare to other restaurants that are our competitors, we will make it perfectly to attract the customers. We make sure our price is not too high and not low but we will provide best quality food, healthy and heartwarming service. If we think about the price, for customers of course they want the cheapest one but... if that cheapest is low quality it will make the restaurant become worse. Customers trust us as they want to spent their time to enjoy a good food with their family, friends... if we destroy their time with the awful food that we provide sure they will never ever come to our restaurant again. That is why we care a lot about the quality of food in our restaurant but not only the food cocktail, juice and wine also. For foreigner, many of them like to taste different kind of food. They like spent their time comfortably and enjoy the natural in our amazing country. Make sure that we make them feel good just like in their own home. Also, about the staffs that work in our restaurant, we make a good relationship between managers and the staff. We focus on their health and their problem well because we dont want the staffs to feel unhappy with their work. The staffs also important in our business, we are nothing without their help so make sure that they enjoy working with us from their heart.

About the Customers Fantasy Restaurant focuses on three types of customers: - The local resident who love to enjoy good food - Foreigner who want comfortable and enjoy different food - Traveler who need good place to reduce stress We expect more than 60% of foreigner will come to our restaurant whenever they come to visit victory beach in Sihanoukvill. By the service it makes the customers feel comfortable and enjoyable good lives near the sea.

Subject The best subject of making high quality seafood and quick service of the restaurant are: - Being a leader of high quality restaurant and domestic service - Keep on a part of the market by 20% each years - Good relationship with the other restaurant - Start a new branch after doing business for 5 years

7. Promotion Fantasy Restaurant focuses on every visitor who visits Victory Beach and especially foreigners that love spent their time enjoy wonderful thing. We promote our restaurant on the magazine, foreign magazine, internet, newspaper and many advertisements. We want the visitor to know and like our restaurant more and more, and we will promote it on TV too so it can make people around the country interest in this restaurant.

V. Financial List
Before we prepare our restaurant, we already think about the money that we need to do this business. First, we need at least 170,000 $. Including the restaurant has registered at business center and tourist center in Sihanoukvill to multiple owners with our own share. About business license we discussed with our partner that they have a lot of experience in open the restaurant, so it is going to be fine and easier for us.
