Letter from the Ombudsman

LOUISIANA Gold Families,

Greetings! Welcome home and congratulations on a successful patrol to our sailors! I hope you have all had a relaxing stand-down and Labor Day weekend.

Contact Information

COMMANDING OFFICER: CDR Rob Peters

EXECUTIVE OFFICER: LCDR Keith Floyd

CHIEF OF THE BOAT: CMDCM Dave Janowski

As we head into the refit-assist period, I encourage all of you to get out and enjoy the remaining good weather before the fall and winter rain sets in and stay involved with the Family Readiness Group! Be sure to take advantage of the classes offered on base through Fleet and Family Services and the fabulous trips and events through ITT. Their information is available on the Navy Life PNW website. Now is also the time to get caught up on all the things needed before the next patrol; so be sure to update your Powers-of-Attorney, and check that your car tags and military IDs will be valid over the next few months. I am always available for any questions. I would like to wish Stacie Hall, my former coOmbudsman, a fond farewell. She is now living in Saratoga Springs after her husbands transfer in July. I wish her and her family good luck in their new home she will be missed! If you have any questions or concerns, I can always be reached by phone or email. Regards, Shiloh Mahmood Navy Family Ombudsman USS LOUISIANA SSBN-743 (Gold)
