Fill the information in the text boxes.

Do not leave any section blank. If a section is not applicable, then type Not Applicable in that section

The cells in the table may be filled in by clicking in the corresponding row/column and typing. To add additional rows to the
table, TAB after placing the cursor in the last row and last column.

When inserting an image, such as a workflow or chart, 1) Click on the image you want to copy, 2) Choose "Edit/Copy"
(Ctrl+C or right-click and "Copy") from the menu, 3) Select the appropriate text box you want to paste the image into 4)
Select "Edit/Paste" (Ctrl+V or right-click and "Paste") from the menu.

After finishing the document, please re-generate the complete Table of Contents to reflect the correct page numbering.
(Select the Table of contents; right-click; select update fields and select update page numbers only command).

1.1 Project Identification


This section provides the necessary information about the project organization and project participants.

Detailed Scope Statement

Define the project deliverables and boundaries. Consider: major business functions, organization, infrastructure, and product/service
components created or modified.

2.1 Project Objectives


Define measureable objectives for the project. Describe what you are trying to accomplish or produce. Quantifiable criteria can
include: schedule, cost, performance, and quality measures.

2.2 In Scope
List in scope deliverables. Describe them in business terms. This should include: products, services, measureable outcomes, results, or
specific items that must be produced to consider the project or project phase complete.

Out of Scope

Identify project boundaries by specifying items excluded from the scope.

2.4

Dependencies

Identify internal and external project associations or logical relationships.

2.5 Organizational Impacts


List the organizational units (Agency, Dept, etc) that are impacted by this project. Highlight new/changed business processes.

2.6 Project Acceptance Criteria


Describe the process and the criteria that will be used to determine if the: deliverables, products, services, and components are
acceptable. Acceptance criteria can include: fitness of use, quality, and performance criteria.

2.7 Project Constraints


List anything that restricts or limits the actions of the team. Typical constraints are related to: scope, schedule, budget,
technology, management directives.

2.8 Project Specifications


Provide any specification documents the project should comply with, for example, industry, or technology specifications and,
contractual agreements.
