Go my question is regarding the API flanges; I have a 4 1/16 API 10000 psi type 6BX flange pair in my calculation. checking the flanges according to pressure equivalent method shows a faint overloading on them ( allowable pressure 690 barg, the equivalent pressure 693 barg). I tried to use ASME method but, even the allowable pressure of the flanges seems too much based on that method. is there any other way to check these kind of flanges? regards Advanced Who's Online 3 registered (gajanan_iitb, PCJ, Salah), 8 Guests and 1 Spider online.
