    ReliveyourmosttreasuredDisneymemoriesastheElginSymphonyOrchestrapresentsselectionsfrom someofthebestlovedscoresofalltimeonApril20,21and22,2012.Thisconcertisdesignedto appealtoaudiencesofallagesfromtheveryyoungtotheyoungatheart.Concertsarescheduledfor 8p.m.,Friday,April20atthePrairieCenterfortheArts,Schaumburg,IL;andSaturday,April21at8p.m. andSunday,April22at3:30p.m.attheHemmensCulturalCenter,45SymphonyWay,Elgin,IL. Morethanaconcert,theMagicalMusicofDisneywilldelighttheeyesandearswithamesmerizingmix ofmusicandclipsfromoriginalDisneymovies,includingexcerptsfromMaryPoppins,Tarzan,TheLittle Mermaid,BeautyandtheBeast,Hercules,Aladdin,TheLionKingandmore.ConcertgoersonSaturday andSundayareinvitedtoattendtheconcertdressedastheirfavoriteDisneycharacterandwillhavethe opportunitytomeet,mingleandposeforpictureswithcostumedprincessesinthelobbyatthe Hemmens. BringthewholefamilytoseeandheartheMagicalMusicofDisney.Theconcertswillbehostedby famedagriculturalbroadcasterandHuntley,IllinoisresidentOrionSamuelsonwhowillintroduceeach piece.Mr.SamuelsonhasbeenheardonWGNRadiosincethe1960sandistheonlybroadcasterinthe nationtoreceivetwoOscarsinAgricultureoneeachforradioandtelevision.Mr.Samuelsonwas inductedintotheRadioHallofFamein2003. ResidentconductorandfinalistintheESOmusicdirectorsearch,StephenSquireshasenteredhis21st seasonwiththeESO.Knownforhisdynamicandengagingstyleonthepodium,Squiresisanactive conductorinorchestral,wind,operaticandballetmusic;anaccomplishedrecitalaccompanist;anda freelancetrumpeter. Squiresisprincipalconductor,professorofconductingandchairoftheorchestralinstruments departmentinthemusicconservatoryattheChicagoCollegeofPerformingArts,RooseveltUniversity.
