Getting started
Use only Battery supplied along with Masterpact GetnSet. Use only the Universal Charger provided with Masterpact GetnSet. Charge battery up to 8 hours before first use. Check for new versions of Masterpact GetnSet firmware and Display Software Tool updates on Schneider Electric website before using the device. b Read the User Manual before starting operations
Charging
4. Connect the Charger to the USB slot and the Mains supply. 5. Leave the Masterpact GetnSet for 8 hours even if the Battery LED Indicates full charge when the Battery is being charged for the first time. 6. Disconnect the Charger. Note: The Masterpact GetnSet Battery can support operations upto 40 minutes while powering Micrologic. Battery Capacity is indicated via the Battery LED. More information is provided in Troubleshooting and Maintenance section.
Power ON
b Press the ON/OFF button for at least 1 s (max of 10 s). b Wait for Power and Battery LED to glow before start of any operation.
Exception: If battery is at critical level, the Masterpact GetnSet shall power off soon after indicating critical status.
Power OFF
Press the ON/OFF button for at least 1 s (max of 10 s). Exception: If an operation is in progress, the Masterpact GetnSet shall not power off till completion of the operation.

Connecting to Micrologic
b Ensure Masterpact GetnSet is OFF. b Move the sliding mechanical cap in the Micrologic position to have access to

RISK OF ELECTROCUTION OR NUISANCE TRIPPING Disconnect the Micrologic cable after use. Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury.
USB connection port. Connect USB cable to the Masterpact GetnSet. Connect other end of USB cable to the PC/Laptop. Wait for Power and Battery Status to indicate Ok status. Ensure that Masterpact GetnSet shows up as a Drive in My Computer. Files can be transferred to and from Masterpact GetnSet as a regular Memory Drive. Note: Bluetooth is off during USB transfer.

CAUTION
RISK OF GETNSET MEMORY CORRUPTION Do not pull put the USB cable during a file transfer. Such an operation may cause the Masterpact GetnSet memory to be corrupt which may require reformatting. Failure to follow these instructions will result in equipment damage.

If the PC/Laptop does not have Bluetooth FTP Profile, Schneider Electric recommends Belkin USB-Bluetooth Adapter (commercial reference :VW3A8115 ) Ensure that Masterpact GetnSet is not connected to PC / Laptop via USB. Switch ON the Masterpact GetnSet by pressing the ON/OFF button. Wait till ON / OFF, Battery and Bluetooth LED are ON Connect to Masterpact GetnSet via the Device Discovery and Service Discovery from the PC/Laptop. Default passkey for Masterpact GetnSet is fixed as 1234. Masterpact GetnSet memory shall appear as a Folder depending on the Software installed on PC/Laptop (This aspect varies from vendor to vendor).

10 s. The corresponding LED blinks green at the rate of 1 s to acknowledge the action. The downloaded measurements file is located in the root with .dgl extension. In case of an error, the LED will show static red and the cause of error is recorded in the error_log.txt which is accessible via the USB or Bluetooth.
Location
Display Software tool is located in the memory of the Masterpact GetnSet. The latest release can also be obtained via the Schneider Electric website. It is recommended to transfer the GetnSet_Display_Tool.XLS file to the PC/Laptop so that the operations are fast enough.

Using the software tool to display operating data Step

Action
Open the GetnSet_Display_Tool.XLS file, previously copied on the PC/laptop hard disk for faster execution. In the Import tab: b Click on the Select .dgl file button: all the .dgl files from any location on your PC are displayed under Selected Files: area with its full path. b Select the .dgl file(s) you want to open. The .dlg file contains the measurement data downloaded from the circuit breakers. b Select the parameters you want to display: All or User defined. v If you select All, all parameters will be displayed. v If you select User defined, you can choose the groups and subgroups of parameters what you want to display. In the Import tab, click on the Open button: the Data tab opens to display all parameters selected. In order to understand easier which breaker is in which column, in the UserInput tab, you should enter: b the 8 digits Micrologic serial number on column A. If serial number holds some 0s on MSB position then format the cell as Text category and enter 8 digits serial number. This serial number is automatically entered when you open a file. b the related comments on column B. The user comment is entered with in Row 1 to 2550.

In case of an error, the LED will show static red and the cause of error is recorded in the error_log.txt which is accessible via the USB or Bluetooth. Note: The latest downloaded settings file will be also located in \\Protection_for _Usage\<Dev_Type> if this folder already exists. The <Dev_ Type> refers to the Type of Micrologic (A, P, H) and the Version (2.0, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0)

CAUTION
RISK OF NO PROTECTION OR NUISANCE TRIPPING b Only qualified personnel are authorized to use the GetnSet tool to modify the Micrologic protection settings. b Do not use Masterpact GetnSet in Critical Power Applications when Circuit Breaker is in ON state. Failure to follow these instructions can result in injury or equipment damage.
The upload settings function allows a user to upload the settings file (.rsu and .rsv) generated by RSU softxware to Micrologic P or H. The steps for uploading the settings to Micrologic are as follows: 1. activate the function (to be done once) 2. place file in Masterpact GetnSet memory 3. upload the settings
\\Protection_Usage\6.0P\*****.rsu) The Masterpact GetnSet shall indicate error if the .rsu file is not placed in the appropriate folder. The settings file (.rsu) are either created with RSU software or previously downloaded from the Micrologic by the GetnSet.

Error Log
The Masterpact GetnSet provides the user with the facility of checking the cause of error through the ERROR_LOG.txt file located on the root of the GetnSet memory. The last event recorded is the last one in the txt file. Each event is recorded with the following format: b Serial number of Micrologic b Getnset firmware version b Selected Operation b Error log The error log is the description of the error occurred while the selected operation was in progress. The Troubleshooting table next page proposes solutions to the user for each possible error.

Error logged Unable to create Folders. (or) File Move failed. (or) File Open Error. Folder for Micrologic Type is not found.
No valid files found in the sub folder for this Micrologic. More than one RSV file found in the directory. There should only be one RSV file. (or) More than one RSU file found in the directory. There should only be one RSU file for current usage. File of the different type found in the usage. Keep only RSU/RSV in usage folder. Failed to connect to Micrologic. Check the trip unit's power and connections to GetnSet. Some of the entries in the RSU file may be invalid or the Micrologic did not accept the change in settings for some reason. The file used for upload is not meant for this Micrologic. (or) The file used for upload is not meant for this Micrologic. Incorrect unit type. (or) The file used for upload is not meant for this Micrologic. Version number is incorrect. Replace battery. Battery low. Invalid serial number. Communication module may be powered on. Disconnect or power off the Comm module and press Test/Reset key on Micrologic.
Upload setting function is not activated as folder of the name corresponding to the connected Micrologic is not found. Upload setting function is not activated :There are no RSU/RSV files for upload. There are more than one RSU and/or RSV files for upload.
Activate the function by creating the folder for the Micrologic type. Add valid RSU/RSV files for upload. Keep only the RSU/RSV files intended for upload.
A file with extension other than .rsu or .rsv is found on the folder meant for upload settings operation. Bad connection between GetnSet and Micrologic control unit. The RSU file used for upload may have values that are invalid for the connected Micrologic or the Micrologic is not able to accept the settings. The RSU file used for upload corresponds to a different Micrologic to the one connected.
Bad battery. Battery needs to be charged. The serial number of the Micrologic is corrupt. Breaker Communication Module (BCM) may be connected.
Replace with a new battery. Battery needs to be charged. Micrologic serial number needs to be corrected. Disconnect or power off the Comm module and press Test/Reset key on Micrologic.

Our module Masterpact GetnSet is for non-critical installations of Masterpact Circuit Breaker only. The end-user product will be professionally installed in such a manner that only the authorized antennas are used.
Caution
Any changes or modifications NOT explicitly APPROVED by connectBlue AB could cause the module to cease to comply with FCC rules part 15, and thus void the users authority to operate the equipment.
IC Compliance
Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. This device has been designed to operate with an antenna having a maximum gain of 2.5 dBi. Having a higher gain is strictly prohibited per regulations of Industry Canada.
