Prairie Meadows Friday September 21 Race 1: $15,000 Claiming NW3 350Y What You Don't Say has been

facing weaker at Sandy Downs and Les Bois, but he's very consistant and has the highest recent speed figures of the field. Although the one hole doesn't thrill me, I don't think it will be a big deal. In all of his last 4 starts, the winner has come back to win again. Flashem Quick dominated for $5,000 last time from the 1 hole. Both of her wins come at Prairie Meadows with Cody Smith riding. High Flyin Floozie is making her 2nd start of 2012. Last time out she ran a good 2nd beaten a neck in a NW in 2012 allowance at Fairmount. She has a win at this track before, and a win at the distance. 1-3-4 Race 2: Iowa Bred Mainden 330Y Jump N Streak was nosed out for 2nd last time by TRS He Be a Skirt, dead heating for third. The co-third place finisher came back to win. This is his third start, and I'm expecting another improvement effort. TRS He Be a Skirt is a consistant in the money finisher, somewhat of a profesional maiden. 4 of his last 5 starts have been 2nds, the other being a 3rd in an open stake, but he's been beaten a length or more in all of them. My Roanie Pony is a debut runner with decent works at this track. Her trainer is 25% with debut runners (1/4) in the last year, and she has the outside post. 3-2-7 Race 3: $5,000 Maiden Claiming 330Y Senior Trip is making his 2nd start off of a career high 72 ESF against open maidens. He now takes a big drop to $5,000 claiming and has 2nd leading rider Agustin Silva. Ivebeenrotten was 2nd beaten by an impressive winner in a futurity trial and was a well beaten 3rd in the final, where the winner of his trial won the final. This is a very significant class drop. Vazquez takes the mount here. Hero Heart debuted against open maidens at Arapahoe, beaten 3 3/4 lengths, and then went into a futurity trial, beaten 2 3/4 lengths. The winner was the same runner in both events. His 3rd effort was alright, 4th beaten 2 1/2 lengths. He drops to maiden claiming company and has a shot here. 6-8-4 Race 4: Filly Maiden 300Y Lika Nightmare debuted with a very strong effort against $7,500 claiming fillies, 3rd beaten a neck (placed 2nd). The extra 50Y should work to her benefit. Hr Ebony Princess ran in an open stake, beaten 1 1/4 lengths, being beaten a nose in the trial. She has the outside post and will be very tough here. More Lethal hopped at the start last time and still managed to rally for 3rd beaten 3 lengths, earning a 68 ESF. She also ran into a headwind last time out. Leading rider

Stormy Smith retains the mount. 2-8-5 Race 5: $10,000 Claiming 870Y Gunpowder Kid made his 2012 debut which was also his 870Y debut with an impressive victory from the 6 hole. He's won 3 of his 6 lifetime starts and has the 1 hole. Dangerous Guns won his last start at Canterbury, beating Jess Another Reb, at this class level. He's 9-16 in the money at this distance, and is very consistant on this track. My First One won last time on the same night as Gunpowder Kid in the same condition going the same distance. This veteran went off form after his last big effort last September. 1-4-2 Race 6: $10,000 Maiden Claiming 330Y Mnm Chocolate is making his 2nd start after being beaten 1 1/2 lengths at this level and distance. He's had 2 weeks off and should be very strong. Ima Rockin Sugar Dad debuted against open maidens at Remington back in April. Since then he's spent time in Texas and he's been in Iowa for a little while now. He gets in easier here. Ds Blazen Earl ran a field-best 72 ESF last time in a trial last time out. He wasn't humiliated in that effort and he should be competitive in this class. 7-9-4 Race 7: $7,500-$6,250 Claiming 350Y Eye Fly Bye didn't run great in a stake event after shipping in from Assiniboia where he had a win and a 2nd in two stake events there. This is a big drop in class and he will be very tough. Note that Clyde Smith rode and won on this horse last June at Canterbury. Put Me Down as Zoom is very very consistant, 14 for 17 in the money. He's been running very high speed figures in allowance and op. claiming events in Idaho, and he should be the one to beat. Landry Jones has run some decent races from the 1 hole in the past. He's won 3 of her 12 starts, all of them at this distance and 2 of them at this track. Her last race was a very strong effort, rallying to be beaten 1/2 length after stumbling at the start. 5-6-2 Race 8: $7,500 Maiden Claiming 400Y Sharp M Eye is a 7 year old making her 7th lifetime start, although her last 3 were all at Fair Play running against the same 2 runners. This will be her first real race since 2008. Her only poor effort was her debut, and now that she had a race (Fair Play) this year, she'll be fit and ready. She has the outside, and I'm curious to see if she'll be the favorite the ML suggests she'll be. Missy Runaway was a well beaten 2nd last time, yielding going 440Y, so the shortening to 400Y should work well. She's 3-4 in the money at Prairie Meadows, so we know she likes this track. Passonet King a 5 year old making her 2nd lifetime, her debut about 2 weeks ago. She wasn't

competitive going 300Y, but the immidiate thoroughbred breeding in her suggests she'll like 400Y and should definately improve 2nd time out. She may be the longshot upset. 8-3-2
