A basket will be provided in the Fellowship Hall to place your name tag in it after fellowship time. Name tags will only be made every two (2) weeks. Childrens Home Fifth Sunday Offering, Sept. 30 - Thanks to generous gifts of over 300 pristine acres of land in Madison County, the Florida United Methodist Childrens home now has the opportunity to give more hurting children a HOPE and a FUTURE by building a new north campus to be named the Madison Youth Ranch. Prayerfully consider an additional offering to support the Madison Youth Ranch. Please designate your financial gift by indicating Madison Youth Ranch on the memo line of your check. With your help, the Madison Youth Ranch will be home to over 100 children in need of family support & spiritual guidance to ensure success in school & life. Sunday, Sept. 30 is Children/Youth day for refreshments. Since we have a small group of parents of children/youth, we would appreciate your help with donations of refreshments and/ or drinks. Nov. 18 at 4 pm, laity will have an opportunity to meet with our new Bishop at Gator Wesley Foundation, 1380 W. University Ave., Gainesville 32603. Kennys Place is having their annual Bar-B-Que (take out only), October 13 from 11 am to 2 pm. Kennys Place is located at 7677 SE 41st Court, Ocala. Proceeds benefit mentally challenged citizens of Marion County. Highland Memorial Park is hosting a charity picnic to benefit the Humane Society of Marion County on Fri, Sept. 28 from11:30 am to 1 pm. Come out & support this great organization! Address is 1515 NE 3rd St, Ocala (2 blocks behind the Cascades). Lunch will be served on a donation basis with 100% of proceeds benefiting the Humane Society of Marion County. Relax in the shade or take your lunch to go. Its up to you.
