Abbe Mald Bunt brings more than 20 years of recruiting experience to her position as President of Bunt Legal Search. In addition to serving as the Vice President of Ankus & Bunt, Inc., she has also functioned as an independent recruiting consultant; the director of recruitment for Steel Hector & Davis LLP; the coordinator of lateral recruitment for Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver, & Jacobsen; and as a legal search consultant with New York Citys Laura Colangelo Legal Search Consultants. She is skilled in counseling law firms in the areas of recruitment, retention, training, and minority hiring. Mald Bunt has served on the NALSC Board, during which time she operated as the liaison between NALSC and the National Association of Law Placement.
She holds a JD from the University of Miami School of Law and is a member of the New York and Florida Bars. Staci Sakalo, also a part-time recruiter, has been a working member of the firm since its establishment in 2004. Part time attorney recruiter, Randee Godofsky Breiter, has been with the firm since 2007. She also works on a part-time basis as the Associate Director of the Career Planning Center at the University of Miami School of Law. In the past she was involved with the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Pro Se Divorce Program and served as a staff attorney for the Dade County Legal Aid Society. From 1991 to 1992, she was the pro bono coordinator for the Dade County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers.
