Human Resource Planning Process It is a process of forecasting, developing and controlling human resources in an enterprise. This process helps the enterprise to ensure that it has the right number of people and the right kind of people, at the right place time performing tasks for which they are most effective. They have to determine and assuming that the company will have an adequate number of qualified persons, available at the proper times, performing jobs which meet the need of company and which provide satisfaction for the company and individuals.

Veer Vijay Silk Mills is a mid size company and so there is no specific procedure for recruitment but when requirement of employees occur they give full concentration and takes enough care during the recruitment process. Because they believe that unless they recruit the right employee it becomes difficult to grow in this competitive world.

So whenever the company needs the employee the Human Resource Department head takes the following procedure 1. They give advertisement on newspapers and in that they specify the exact requirement of the post. 2. After that the candidates who are suitable for the post goes to the company 3. Further the HR department person namely manager checks the filled form and then the person are told to be contacted later after around 2-3 days time. 4. The short listed candidates are called for interview and then a detailed interview is conducted by the top management. 5. Once the candidate is finalized, he is informed to join within one month.

The company within the organization generally receives the internal sources. Mostly whenever this type of situation occurs company appoint somebody from within the organization by upgrading, transferring or promoting to the employee.
