Apps in opposite pairs are used for contrasting things i.e. 1 and 9 2 and 8 3 and 7 4 and 6 5 and 10 Check them out as you read about each app.

Each of us has ten natural apps (faculties or abilities). If we learn what they do, which we ones we like, and how to look after them, we will be able to use them fully and in balance. Then we can begin to relate to other people, (even those we dont like!) and become much happier. Know your bro With i-KON, you can!

Care

This is one of the big apps that you have. Its about bringing info. INto your body using your five senses (see, hear, feel, taste, smell) via your tongue, nose, eyes, ears and skin. Its also about taking in physical stuff through your mouth such as the air you breathe, liquids you drink, foods you eat, medicines you take. It can also be about the bigger you - what you have around you like your room, clothes, books, computer, bike and money.

You can look after this app by doing such things as: Getting eye check-ups, wearing shades, and using sunscreen etc. Eating healthy food and not getting overweight. Drinking moderately, and avoiding smoking and drugs. Taking breaks from computers, mobiles etc. Acquiring only stuff that you really need and saving as much as you can. Avoiding blue or violent movies, and porno. Being fully aware of everything around you.

If you like using this app, you might be good at: Doing jobs that need good sensory skills Collecting data and thinking about them. Learning by reflective observation watching. Being friendly and diplomatic (but maybe worrying and fearful) Reporting and advising in teams, or just being a good team player. Being imaginative and innovative. Enjoying being alone when you are doing work.

This link app helps you sort out differences between things. It helps give answers to questions such as: WOT am I eating? What am I seeing? What size is it? Which is the best quality? What sort of thing is it? Is there too much? Is anything missing? Is it good or bad? Do I really need it? This app works a bit like a filter or a firewall on your computer. Other words for what this app does are monitoring and discernment

You can look after this app by doing such things as: Avoiding watching too much TV or films Being critical of what you read in the papers or TV Hearing all points of view Avoiding getting into bad habits. Listening carefully to what people have to say. Being careful to understand word meanings Thinking the best of people Avoiding drugs and things that dull your senses

If you like using this app, you might be good at: Doing jobs that need good supervision or monitoring. Finding out why and how people or things differ from one another. Learning by observing and thinking. Maintaining things, making sure they work properly. Specialising in a subject, getting to know it in detail. Describing how things look and work. Working out how to improve things.

This is another big app. It is all about the way you use your brain, your mind, or your head! HMM Its all to do with thinking, working out answers, calculating sums, analysing problems, using your common sense, figuring out how things work. We now have many tools to help us think, such as computers, but were capable of doing a lot more with this natural app than we realise! This app is working in the background all the time.

You can look after this app by doing such things as: Wearing your seatbelt or safety helmet on the road. Making sure you give your brain a rest, and avoid stressing it by doing something different. Keeping clear of drugs that alter or dull your thinking. Doing exercises to keep your brain active, such as puzzles, quizzes, etc. Keeping in touch with your instinct. Remembering that other people can think in very different ways to you!

If you like using this app, you might be good at: Doing jobs that are academic and need a lot of study. Learning by analytical thinking working out things in theory. Organizing stuff and making sure that rules and regulations are followed. Spending time on your own to work out a problem. Doing work in an office where things do not change a lot. Using computers.

This link app is NOT always a popular one! It is all about the way we choose things, making decisions about what to do, and judging what is right or wrong or good or bad. It is also to do with the rules and regs which tell us what not to do and which we have to obey. Its about authority and setting limits. Our body is full of stuff that regulates how we work.

You can look after this app by doing such things as: Being fair in the way you treat other people. Forming good habits and being disciplined. Thinking through the pros and cons of a decision. Keeping to the law and not cheating. Following what your conscience tells you. Taking account of all the evidence, being unbiased. Trying not to be judgemental, critical or hypocritical. Looking after your body.

If you like using this app, you might be good at: Doing jobs that require you to follow set rules or procedures. Making laws and regulations about how things should be done Experimenting and doing research being methodical Making difficult choices between different ways of doing things. Operating things that follow set procedures, and doing it regularly. Seeing things through until they are completed.

This is a cross app which you might not know too much about. It is the one that takes you deep inside yourself. Its about the way we think, reflect or meditate about things deeply OM Its the way we have an inner talk with ourselves. Like We use it to remember and recall things deep in our subconscious. We also use it when we pray and try to listen to or be with whatever we understand God or the divine to be.

You can look after this app by doing such things as: Taking time out to be still and meditate. Avoiding letting your imagination running wild. Thinking about the deep things of life justice, beauty, truth. Having a realistic opinion of yourself. Doing exercises to improve your memory. Listening to your conscience. Forgiving other people and not keeping grudges. Trying not to worry

If you like using this app you might be good at: Doing jobs that require careful and long thought. Listening to others and helping them through their problems. Understanding spiritual matters and ideas. Chilling out - meditating and contemplating. Working with and helping religious people. Praying and worshiping in church. Acting as mediator. Providing moral support.

This link app can be fun! Its all about the way we are creative, imaginative, or humorous, making works of art or inventing new things. Whereas the opposite app is all about setting limits, this one is about freedom to do what you want. Its saying YES instead on no! This app is will be running if you feel inspired. It is a very important one for artists, musicians, actors, and writers. Its ultimate expression is when you have a baby!

You can look after this app by doing such things as: Taking time off to just to have fun and relax. Finding an interesting hobby and doing it. Seeing the humorous side of life not taking yourself too seriously! Practising the creative things you are good at. Going out to see films, theatre, concerts etc. Travelling and understanding other cultures. Trying to see other peoples points of view.

If you like using this app you might be good at: Doing jobs where you have to perform, entertain, or compose. Thinking up new and original answers in problem solving. Learning by listening and sharing ideas, asking why? Creating and sharing new ideas when working with teams. Being a devoted parent, where you are helping to create a new life! Encouraging other people.

This is your third big app and is about the way we tell people about our thoughts and ideas (and ourselves). This can be done by talking, typing, texting using signs, symbols, words, or exclamations HEY! Its can also be done by singing, dancing, acting and playing music. Like We can use our whole body in sending messages by using gestures and also changing the way we say things. When we communicate we have to have the IN app running properly, as well!

You can look after this app by doing such things as: Using words properly, meaning what you say. Trying not to swear. Learning how to speak and present in public. Taking care of how you look and being modest! Telling the truth and trying not to exaggerate. Expressing your emotions (but not too much!) Avoiding gossip that harms other people. Trying to be assertive, but not aggressive or submissive

If you like using this app you might be good at: Jobs that require you to talk a lot to other people. Learning by concrete experience or feeling with others. In teams, searching for and persuading others of new opportunities. Encouraging and praising people (you need it, too). Using computer programs like Facebook, and talking or texting on your mobile. Being around other people (not alone) Having fun at parties!

This link app is about HOW we guide ourselves and other people in doing what we need or want. When we use this app we bring together or integrate lots of information. Note that the the opposite app splits things up and finds differences. Like It is important for people who want to lead, facilitate, mediate, teach, manage or direct others. When you point a finger at someone three point back at yourself! Think about it!

You can look after this app by doing such things as: Setting a good example to other people. Making sure you dont mislead others. Knowing what you and others can and cant do. Helping to make useful suggestions. Being realistically optimistic, and encouraging others. Listening carefully before giving advice. Following your conscience. Not stirring up trouble!

If you like using this app you might be good at: Jobs that require you to work with other people, giving them direction. Examples are: a mentor, mediator, negotiator, facilitator. Learning by trial and error and working intuitively (not always logically). Asking what-if questions. Finding out and testing the practicality of new ideas when working in teams. Getting ideas into practice.

This is another of your four big apps. Its very important. Its all about the way we practically act OUT and physically do things using our whole body. Care Its walking the talk! It involves using our muscles, energy, strength with skill and control for good purposes. Like Its also to do with getting rid of body waste (OK, thats poo, pee etc!) As the outer you, it is about the things you have around you to help you do things (tools, car, clothes)

You can look after this app by doing such things as: Keeping healthy by getting enough exercise and having regular medical check-ups. Not getting drunk or drugged out. Avoiding getting physically abusive. Doing things to the best of your ability. Learning about your skills, and getting practice. Taking enough rest but not sleeping too long! Having a practical hobby, if you work in an office. Driving carefully.

If you like using this app you might be good at: Jobs that require you to do physical things, like plumbing, carpentry etc. Being out-of-doors Doing DIY jobs, and repairing things. Taking part in all sorts of physical sports and games. Learning by active, hands-on experimentation. Travelling to and exploring new places. Getting things to work and achieve goals in a team.

This is the other cross app. Its the most important! Its all about relating to others (and ourselves) and to God (or the divine). It includes giving feedback and making changes. When it is working best it is all about unselfish love, something all our apps should be helping to show. Like The golden rule of all religions is: Do to others what you would do to yourself. Christianity says that God is Love, and Jesus is the perfect example of love in human form. Jesus said: I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life.

You can look after this app by doing such things as: Learning from your mistakes, and giving kind feedback to others. Being trustworthy and faithful in all you do. Being a good follower as well as a leader. Following the example of good role models. Understanding others as much as you can. Trying to love everyone, even if you dont like them. Loving yourself as much as you possibly can (God loves you anyway!) Learning about God.

If you like using this app you might be good at: Jobs that need a lot of compassion. Becoming married and having a family. Being a carer for someone in need. Being a leader of a religious community. Helping people who are poor or ill. Trying to resolve arguments and quarrels. Understanding and helping people who are sad. Finding God in all things.
