For example, any woman who comes out of traditional role of being a mother or staying home is viewed with less respect or dignity for going against tradition. Japanese society tries to restore a macho chauvinist tradition while exercising their fantasies. With the creation of the Constitution in 1947 which states freedom of speech, censorship was still somewhat forbidden and it remained in force for sexual matters. Also, the transition from family traditions to individualism, the need for macho chauvinism to regain control over women, and the access to technology develop the need for Hentai. All factors contributing to a need to escape reality through fiction. The earlier censorship of simple, sexual things led to develop more twisted thoughts and ideas; in turn it became an extreme fetish.
