 4 Jorge Montalvo Mr.King Bible journal 13 November 2011 On Matthew 16 tells us is be careful with the Pharisees that they demand a sing from heaven. Jesus told them you know how interpret the sky boy you cannot the sings of the times. No sing will be given except the sing of Jonah. Then Jesus told to his disciples to wary of the Pharisees because they want to teach something that is not true. I think What Jesus tried to say on that part is always it will be somebody that will try to persuade you and be careful. Then Jesus blessed Peter because he told Jesus that he was the Messiah, the son of a living God. He blessed peter because many people were saying that John the Baptist is the messiah and peter answered no you are the messiah Jesus. When Jesus predicts his death with his disciples he explained that because of him many of them will suffer or even die. Some of them will deny Jesus because they are scared to die and in the bible says: whoever wants to save their lives will lose it, but the one who lose it for me will find it. And that message was clear to say that some of their disciples will deny Jesus and Jesus already know who will do it. This chapter shows to me that I need to have more faith on God because he know everything, and when a bad thing happen it doesnt mean that it over. When Jesus died his followers were devastated and then Jesus come alive again and he is on Heaven right now watching us with God. The book of Matthew

 5 for me is interesting because it tells all the history of Jesus and his disciples, so from there you can learn parables, history, prophecies from the Old Testament. Why does Jesus try to meant by the last verse 28?
