1. Si tienes instalado el Arc Gis anterior desinstlalo. 2. Como activar la licencia? a. Crea el siguiente directorio: C:/Archivos de programas/ESRI/License/arcgis9x b. Copia license.lic en el nuevo directorio c. Entra en license.lic y al principio del texto donde pone this_host, brralo y cmbialo por el nombre de tu ordenador. Ej:DIEGO d. Entra en Run LM Setup.exe Copia la direccin de la licencia: C:\Program Files\ESRI\License\arcgis9x\license.lic y sigue los pasos. Si te dice restard (reiniciar) antes de eso abre el archivo ESRIFloat.reg para registrarte primero y despus, si reinicia.

d. Vete a inicio_Argis_License Manager 9x_Run License Manager Tools. e. Pestaa Service/License File, circulito Configuration using services y marcas ArcGis License manager f. Pestaa Configure Services y asegrate que en Service Name esta: ArcGis License Manager despues en Path to the license file pincha en Browse y copia la direccion de la licencia (C:\Program Files\ESRI\License\arcgis9x/license.lic) g. Marca con una v la casilla: Start Server at Power up. h. Marca Save Service (rectngulo arriba derecha) para guardar los cambios. i. Pestaa Start/Stop/ReRead tab, Click Stop server, then ReRead license file, then Start Server. j. Despues vete a la pestaa to the tab Server Diagnostics and press the Perform Diagnostics button. If everything is done right, it should list all ok features. 3. Vete a la capeta DESKTOP y dale a SETUP(ordenador con el CD) y te comenzara a instalar el programa. 4. Circulito: Define the license Manager later 5. Ojo si quieres el programa completo(ocupa mucho)elige a Arc Info, si le quieres con menos cosas Arc View . La instalacin siempre completa(No simple te quita extensiones)y

1. If you have already installed ArcGIS 9.1, just uninstall it and install this version. 2. License Manger Setup a. Create the following directories: i. C:\Program Files\ESRI\License\arcgis9x b. Copy license.lic to that directory. c. Edit the first line of the license.lic file i. SERVER this_host any ii. Change this_host to the name of your computer d. Run LMSetup.exe i. Choose C:\Program Files\ESRI\License\arcgis9x\license.lic when prompted. ii. Do not restart. iii. Copy over ARCGIS.exe to C:\Program Files\ESRI\License\arcgis9x iv. Add ESRIFloat.reg to the registry. e. Restart your computer. f. Launch StartMenu -> ArcGIS -> License Manager 9x -> Run License Manager Tools. g. Choose tab Service/License File, and check "Configuration using Services", and choose the ArcGIS License Manager. h. Switch to tab Configure Services, make sure ArcGIS License Manager is in the Service Name listbox. i. Browse to the correct License file path (C:\Program Files\ESRI\License\arcgis9x) where you copied the license.lic file and choose it as license. j. Check Start Server at Power up. k. Click Save Service to save the settings. l. Test the server by choosing the Start/Stop/ReRead tab, Click Stop server, then ReRead license file, then Start Server. m. After that move to the tab Server Diagnostics and press the Perform Diagnostics button. If everything is done right, it should list all ok features. 3. Mount ArcGIS Desktop 9.2 DVD.iso 4. Install ArcGIS Desktop.
