Dr. Phil was doing a story on the Family Court Crisis and Damons case was slated to be aired, but at the last minute was taken off. Damons mother, at about the same time, was meeting in Washington D.C. with Lynn Rosenthal, Advisor to the White House and the Dept. of Justice in a round table discussion with top professionals in the field about how Family Courts are not listening to or protecting women and children. The new Family court judge, Judge Christine Goldsmith, declared that there had not been a change of circumstance so she would not hear his motion. She completely ignored his pleas for help with this petition, although hundreds were emailed to her.
