Interviewer: Jyoti Khurana [Student] Interviewee: Mrs Nitu Chaudhary Khurana (Inflight Manager ,Kingfisher Airlines) Start of the Interview Interviewer: Good afternoon Mam, For how long have you been working for Kingfisher Airlines? Interviewee: Its more than 6 years. I joined in 2006 . Interviewer: What are your key responsibilities as an Inflight Manager? Interviewee: My responsibilities is to take care of flights , Guests ,Crew , coordination between different staff , taking care of all the facitlities which are to be provided to the guests on the board. Interviewer: Is this your first job ? Interviewee: No this is my third job. I found a better opportunity for growth in kingfisher so I moved here. Interviewer: What is your educational background Mam? Interviewee: I have done my schooling from dynasty international school. I am a graduate in English honours from Delhi University. And now I am pursuing MBA. Interviewer: What were the key issues during early phase of your career? And how did you overcome it? Interviewee: When I started my working I faced a lot of problem initially because I was too young to cope up with the generation gap. I am a good learner and took my work very seriously. I learnt a lot of things from my seniors and now I am comfortable working in any environment. Interviewer: How will you rate networking or socializing on the scale of 10? What are your point of views on it? Interviewee: I would rate networking 9 on 10. It is the most important part of anyones life. Not only on the career front but also grooming ones personality. We meet people, make friends, classmates, then collegues in offices and many other people we meet throughout our life. As far as career is concerned networking is very important as it grooms one personality. One can learn many thing from others. Atleast for me , as a person like who is not fond of reading newpapers and magazines so networking and socializing helps me to get updated about whats happening in the world.

Interviewer: And how it has helped in your career? Interviewee: In my career chart when I was initially working with Global Centre I dint have much social life it was just restricted to people I already know from past and in my company. But since the time I have changed my job and my profile I have to deal with people every day. Dealing with people everyday is itself a new challenge. Networking and Socializing helped me in getting through this job. My this job required me to be extrovert and this socialising and networking helped me in it. Interviewer: How much time do you spend on social networking sites? Interviewee: After the job I do take out the time to visit social networking sites to check my friend messages or leave them a message. Its not only sites you know they are other medium like the cellphones, mails, letters, meetings etc. I believe in keeping in contact with people whom I know. There is no specific time limit. Interviewer: Any suggestion you would like to give me on networking as I am about to start my work life? Interviewee: This is very important to start reading newspapers everyday. I would like you to keep in touch with good friends who can keep you updated. Make use of google for work rrelated problems. Always be positive to handle any kind of situation in life because it makes you the confident person and a successful person. Keep socialising and networking because it is going to help you in building your social network strong.
