Robert Salame will graduate from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in June 2014 with his JD. Robert finished his undergraduate degree from Baruch College in three years, while maintaining a full-time job and participating as the Chief of Staff in the Student Government.

At only 21 years old, Robert is a hard-worker dedicated to growth. Bobby, as he is better known, is the kind of candidate that any firm would be proud to call an associate. The associate title would only last so long though, because with his drive and ambition, the title of partner will surely follow. Roberts experience in politics is not restricted to the classroom. Robert served as the Regulatory Affairs Manager, where he managed regulatory affairs for the post-merger dissolution of two acquired companies. He engaged the secretary of state offices and public service commissions in thirty-two states to withdraw a Certificate of Authority for Foreign Corporation to transact business in each state. Additionally, he was responsible for maintaining good standing status standing in 49 states. Further, he negotiated taxes, assessments, and fees with all state regulators. Even while attending the Zicklin School of Business, Robert took on a number of professional tasks and continued to grow, learn, and thrive. For instance, while in school full-time, he was a Committee Member with the MetTelWireless Development team and successfully integrated the division into the overall organization (contributing more than 1.5 million dollars in revenue). As a Committee Member, Robert wore a number of hats. He developed strategy for a new product rollout, coordinated with multiple divisions, and negotiated terms and conditions with wireless vendors and clients.

proud of his position as the MSA (Master Service Agreement) Audit and Automation Director. In this position, Robert went through every agreement, andprovided in-depth analysis and charting of agreement rate compliance, and company health and profitability levels based on vendor, region, and product line. Further, he managed the development of forensic software for automating the audit of annual invoices totaling more than $80,000,000 dollars. As a law student, Robert is involved in the Cardozo Cyber Law Society, the Real Estate Law Society, the Business Law Society, and he is the Treasurer of Labor and Employment Law Society. As a first year lawstudent, Robert is interested in the Negotiations Team, and soon he hopes to join the other students. Recently, Robert studied International Business and Intellectual Property law in Hong Kong. Robert said the experience was an eye opener. Although China has more written Intellectual Property laws than the US, each region of the country enforces these laws differently. Robert learned a great deal about international agreements. Despite Roberts stellar experience and drive, he remains humble and loyal. I want to continue to grow in every sense. I see myself working for a firm that is committed to doing great work. I want to grow the firm, I want to bring in business, and I want to produce quality work. Robert plans to learn as much as he can so that he

law.Robert plans to continue to work hard and gain additional insight into Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Law, Corporate Litigation, Energy Law, and Real Estate Law. Robert is excited and honored to be working as a summer associate with Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP, a firm dedicated to providing superior service. Three people Robert considers highly influential are his father, Justice Scalia, and Arthur Jacobson (Law School Professor at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law ). When asked what he admired the most about his father, Theodore, Robert responded, I try to model him as much as possible in every aspect. He puts so much dedication into everything he does. He always acts with honesty and integrity. He starts something and he gets it done. He does everything he can for our family. In addition, Robert is involved in a number of non-

profit activities with a particular passion for helping schools that offer special needs programs. He served as a Special Event Committee Chairman with Yeshivah of Manhattan Day School, where he organized an event to raise money and awareness of a private elementary school at the verge of closure. For another organization, serving as an Auction Committee Member, he(among others), planned and executed a fundraiser targeting 5,000 to 10,000 participates. Most recently, he served, as Chairman of an event, which included a blood drive, registered bone marrow donors for a leukemia foundation, and raised money for Gersher Yehuda (special needs school). When Robert can pull himself away from his projects, he hits the court for a little basketball or the field for a little hockey.
