A Video Robotics Car is a novel way of gathering intelligence inputs for places which are either not safe or not easily reachable by humans. In this project we showed how a small robotic car fitted with a camera can be used as a landmine detector. We fitted a car with a video camera of CCD type which was capable of capturing the picture and audio signal of the surroundings. The car movement was controlled using a RF type remote control. A transmitter was then used to transmit the modulated audio/video signal to a receiving point far away from the hypothetical landmine location. The project was well received and appreciated. We delved into the study & design of the Monochrome Television System. We studied the various components which make up a monochrome television and how all these components interacted together to transform the signals received by an antenna into actual picture and audio. This was a perfect opportunity where we were able to actually relate practically our theoretical knowledge about electronics. We were able to understand how the different individual electronic components we studied till now acted together as one system. VOCATIONAL AND INDUSTRIAL TRAININGS Underwent 2 weeks of vocational training relating to EWSD Mobile Exchange at Telephone Exchange Bhopal in July 2006. We majorly learned how switching takes place in a digital telephone exchange. Successfully completed industrial training on Embedded Systems with Linkage Telecom.Pvt. Ltd. This was for a period of 45 days between July and August 2007. We understood the basics of embedded systems.
