mont-sainte-Anne is home to the longest-running event on the uCi mountain Bike World Cup circuit. its also located in Devincis backyard, which made its global Racing (DgR) launch a natural progression for the brand. leading the DgR charge is powerhouse downhiller and Vancouver island native steve smiththe fastest Canadian to dominate the World Cup podium in recent history. last year smith piloted his custom Wilson to multiple podium trips, clinching fifth place in the overall uCi Dh standings in addition to sniping first at the Canadian Open in Whistler, B.C., and second at the u.s. open in Vernon, new Jersey. Capping a feverish season, smith never landed outside the top 10, while his teammate george Brannigan pocketed third-place at the european ixs Cup for his best result of the year. DgR will be globetrotting the world over in 2012, with a continued focus on World Cup performance and crushing the competition dreams.
