NOTE

Considering the requirement of the department to have a common set of slides-PPT to cover the essentials of teaching in Biostatistics & Demography covering curricula for MBBS; B.Sc. (MLT); B.Sc. (Nursing) students, some sincere efforts were already made by the undersigned in the recent past. The available material was shared and handedover to the department about a year back with an objective to consolidate some 10 to 15 slides-PPT presentations for each regular class/session, - has not been attempted so far. Mr Harichandrakumar K T, Lecturer in Statistics, shall undertake the responsibility to complete the task within three-weeks time, first for B.Sc. (Nursing) course, for which the Topics (19 topics the list enclosed) for each session of an hour has already been worked out by the undersigned in consultations with the requirements brought forward by the Principal, College of Nursing. The broad guidelines for the preparations have been repeatedly discussed several times in the past one year, should be followed. We would together review the same in first week of July, 2011; before planning similar backup of slides for the MBBS; B.Sc. (MLT) and to evolve guidelines to support teaching Biochemistry as well Biostatistics M.Sc. students and Ph.D. scholars.
