any non-portable current generation console because to offer a complete enough gaming experience to show it off fully with its complex graphics and complex gameplay as a game it is too complicated and needs a larger screen than portable games consoles for it to reach its full potential so to meet these needs Star Horizon is only going to be available consoles and although it will be available on PC due to the graphics and other needs it will require a high end PC with a powerful graphics card, RAM and Processor for it to be able to play properly without lag and be able to play properly. Star Horizon is a Sci Fi First person shooter set in space and will offer both land and flight combat so it will have normal on the ground combat like many other first person shooters while it will also feature in flight spaceship and plane combat making it very different and unique. The game will be set in the future on a variety of different planets all featuring unique environments with different conditions. Players will be able to play across the different planets through the missions completed. The market research shows that 75 % of people as play games at least once a week and 78% of people asked play more than one hour of games a week. This then shows that a large number of the people asked clearly enjoy gaming in some as casual gamers and with 33% playing more than 5 hours a week these being more hard core gamers. This then shows there is clearly a large gaming market. When looking at the markets for games four of the top five gaming genres were action, adventure, first person shooter and role play games and the only other game genre was sports games such as Fifa. This clearly shows that for our game the best genre would be to take advantage of this by selecting a shooter or adventure game in some form so we have now selected to create a first person shooter and RPG game as between these they took up 35% of the votes and are clearly very popular gaming genres. It doesnt make such a significant difference in whether it is original or a series as 44% of people will try out a new game. The most popular gaming platform however were most surprising however though as we knew the Xbox was popular and that came out first however next best was PC and then came iPod/iPad/iPhone which was a big surprise and then came PS3s. For our teams game we have selected three of these four however we do not feel it would work on portable gaming devices and the Wii style of gaming would not suit it.60% of people asked will spend 40 on a game which about normal for any game so this is good as people will pay and there wasnt too much of a difference between people play on their own or with friends as 45% of people will happily play a game on their own. The most important parts of selling and features that people enjoy in a game are that there are multiplayer features and that there is a storyline however people still also

like a bit of action in a game. The main reason people buy a game are that people have played the series or a friend recommended it so clearly it is easier to sell well by a series and so in order for the game to do well people would have to play the demo and the advertising posters created would have to be good but most people would not buy merchandise for the game with 42% buying merchandise. One thing that was important is the game setting and in the research modern day was clearly the most popular with 31.5% however real places, sci fi and real day were all very similar with about 10-15% so we selected Sci Fi games which are not as popular as some games however there is clearly a market for our game. This questionnaire was done mainly among 16-19 year olds which is useful as this age group is known for enjoying games and it is teens that enjoy games. The demographic characteristics we aim to reach for this game are gamers who are 16 years and above, we are aiming the game at males more than females as statics show males play more games than females. The game is not family oriented as it has violence displayed in its missions, although it can be played on multiple remotes among friends and online. The price of the game will be aimed at people with standard incomes, so the sale of the game will be at its most productive. The style of the game will be more attractive for the first person shooter type of gamers, this means it would be siting amount other first person shooter games in the stores. If this game is successful and customer like the game then the customers will become loyal to the Team Meal Gear Company and this will help us grow.

Star Horizon will be released in the major European languages such as English, German, Spanish and French and also will be released in Japanese as these are some of the most widely spoken languages in the world other than Mandarin Chinese however China will not feature a great deal of the sales of the game so this language has not been included however the game will be included in most other major languages and also will be included in Japanese as this is one of the most gaming and technology centered countries worldwide and will contribute to a lot of the sales of the game The game will be sold in Japan because they love games and technology, they will make up a lot of the sold games which we will be selling. If the game got really popular in Japan then it could become a big success as other people from other countries may buy it. The game will be sold in Europe because Europe is also very technology based in that in the major European countries such as the UK France, Spain and Germany many teenagers enjoy gaming and have a games console. The game will be sold in in the USA because it is such a large and powerful country with over 250 million people, and they are quite wealthy and technology based many teenagers enjoy gaming on a console of some kind. The game will be sold in China and other major Asian countries because China is one of the worlds most powerful countries and because it has such a strong economy they will be able to afford

games however it wont contribute to the largest sales per region due to the number of children in China being very limited. Our game will also be sold in Australia as many people in Australia are able to afford and enjoy gaming and our game also features wolves which are based in Australia so they will be able to relate to it more and will want to understand and play Star Horizon. Overview The game is about a race of wolfs which have evolved so they can talk and communicate with each other. Like man though they have conflict with other animals and war breaks out there are three good armies, Rakuen, Hyena Liberation Army or HLA and AeroWolf and you have to fight against the bad hyenas and defeat them. In the game players have to complete a number of missions before you complete a level, the more missions and levels you complete the harder they get. Players then will complete one planet with one environment and in the next level will move onto the next planet which will feature a completely different environment and creatures. The game will be available on most game consoles however it wont be available on small hand held devices like the DS and PSP. This is because the game picture quality needs to be very defined and if the game was to be on DS or PSP then they picture quality of scenes will be affected. Also the graphics and detail will be too great to be able to be captured fully on a 5 inch display so the game would have to be toned down in the amount of detail but we do not want to do this for the purpose of releasing on a handheld console. However as technology improves it may be possible to have the game on the handheld game console in the future.

The game is a first person shooter set in the future so it is fiction and isnt real, Its set in different environment for example in space and on different planet. The audience for the game will be people over 16 because they will have most in common with this game and it has a moderate amount of violence in it which some younger gamers may find offensive. The game must also be checked by PEGI to make sure it is up to standard and not too offensive; the game will also be reviewed by a number of companies which may affect the sale. The game will be sold all over the world so it will important to make sure that the language in the games will be

changed in the individual games, so gamers will be able to understand what is happening and what they should do in the game.

Objectives The main objective of the game across the whole of the game is for the Hyena Liberation Army, Rakuen, and Aerowolf to recruit further covering the many planets with each army being on different planets and together they have to help each individual planet from Hyena. Each Army has different qualities and individual skills they are able to use and with these skills they will complete small objectives which together result in them helping the planet. For example one of these smaller objectives that would be set on a largely populated planet with major cities would be for HLA and Aero Wolf to recruit in order to stop Hyena sending out high profile targets of the planet of Crocotia.

By completing sub objectives such as that mentioned above these all contribute in helping one individual planet. After this then HLA, Rakuen and Aerowolf move from one planet with one environment to the next planet in the solar system with a completely different environment. The planet they are at will then determine the sub objectives they will get so on an icy planet the main objective would be to stop Aerowolf melting the ice which would cause mass destruction and loss of life so HLA, Rakuen and Aerowolf must complete a series of mini objectives to achieve this and help the planet before moving on the next planet. Also how players go about objectives will determine and affect the next objective so in the recruitment minor characters could be killed making them unavailable and making it harder to complete objectives. The overall aim of the game is to help the solar system in which they live and to stop Hyena taking over the star system.

Also in the game to differentiate the game and keep players interested for longer there will be trophies available on the play station network and achievements available on the Xbox. These will show up a gamers ability as these will be split into

easy objectives which will be completed by carrying out normal in game objectives that players have to complete just by carrying out the story as they go along. Then there will be medium Achievements which players can get for doing quite well at a level such as killing a certain number of enemies, getting so many weapon and armor upgrades and also for destroying vehicles and killing a boss at the end of helping each planet. Lastly there are also hard objectives which show up hardcore gamers such as killing a boss with just a knife or on the hardest level of difficulty. Also there will be these achievements for getting all upgrades and completing all levels on the hardest level of difficulty and lastly for completing a mission within not a very long time period or without dying. For these achievements or trophies these can for some take a long time to achieve so are able to keep a player interested in the game for a much longer period of time. For these the players earn gamer points and trophies and so for example a player on an easy achievement a player would get 5-10 Gamer Points or a bronze trophy, a medium difficulty 20-25 Gamer Points or a silver trophy. For a hard achievement players would earn 30-50 Gamer Points or a gold/platinum trophy. These enable other players to see how skilled another player by how many gamer points or trophies they have achieved in the game. To make the game hard also players are able to redo the game on a harder level of difficulty which will also be required to get some of the achievements. These levels of difficulties will be easy, medium and hard. These can be used for some achievements such as complete a level on hard setting.

Theme The game is a Sci-Fi adventure which will be set in Space which is quite unique in itself as their arent many futuristic space style combat/ first person shooter games and will be set across many planets with very different environment. It will be a competitor to Halo which is exclusive to the Xbox and Crysis. It is a first person shooter.

This will allow us as it is set in space to create the whole story as we will be able to have very unique characters such as Hyenas, Wolfs and Dogs which other than star fox which is more aimed for children have not been used as the main characters in such a game. Also our game is different to this as it is aimed at a much larger older audience as it is aimed at 16+ teenagers so our game is taking on a completely new style of game for a different audience. Also due to the game being set in space it allows the game to basically be redesigned from Call of Duty as the game will take place across many different planets allowing a completely different style of play. These planets the game will take part across will feature many different conditions that you cannot see in any other game so there will be a major futuristic planet and then there will be very desolate planets with not much trace of life such as a desert planet and also an arctic planet. Because of these planets the game on each planet will have the standard enemies which will be Hyena however on each planet they will be able to team up with evil minions such as on an arctic planet Hyena can gain Polar bear minions and in desert planets they can have lynx minions and these can vary a lot depending on the conditions. Also another element of the game due to the Sci-Fi content of the game that is able to be unique will be the games vehicles that can be used so we have for Hyena used different vehicles to Rakuen, Hyena Liberation Army and Aero Wolf so Aerowolf will have the main colours for their vehicles as white and yellow and Hyena will adopt the colours of red and black. These will then be used for the vehicles and due to the game being set in the future we have tried to look at existing vehicles such as tanks, armored buggies, helicopters/ spaceship and fighter planes. Although we have used existing models as the basis for such vehicles the tanks used have been very future inspired so Aerowolf have a very rounded but aggressive futuristic tank, a futuristic style spaceship/ helicopter which is shiny white, a concept for an armored buggy and a futuristic space plane concept vehicle .For Hyena they will also have very different vehicles so they are slightly older and less futuristic in that they will use a Jeep style armored buggy in dark green, a full on aggressive very harsh edged futuristic tank, currently existing style fighter jets and lastly Hyena will also have an existing style Helicopter that is cutting edge and aimed for speed which will also be armored and have weaponry for Star Horizon.

As you can see from the theme of the game being Sci-Fi we have used existing vehicles and environments and creatures as the inspiration but we have been able to make this our own by while keeping some areas of the game similar to how they are now we have also been able to add a modern twist to make our game very Sci-Fi based. Features The game will have an activity feed which the will be able to see what other players are playing in the game, this shows the player that they are not playing alone and may make the player play more. It could also make the players competitive as they may want to beat other players scores or complete levels before someone else. The game will also be able to provide an avatar for the player; this means that the player will be able to show other players what they want to look like. Also in the Xbox addition you can get custom clothes for your Xbox character, this can make the game more popular and make more sales for the game. The game may have Easter eggs in which hidden messages and jokes will be put in the game, this feature may be used to entice the player to play the game more and in the Easter eggs which have been hidden. They can find the Easter eggs by using the internet where there will be information on where to find them. The Easter eggs may lead to secret levels and futures in game, it could mean more avatar clothes. The game will have a leader board which people can post there high scores on, this means that if you get a really high score you can post it onto the leader board. Friends and other people from all over the world can see the score and will try to beat it. The game may have instances; this is where you can create your own unique space for example a secret base which you can personalise. It means that other players can they come into your base and see how you have customised it. Instances are

also used in games like Minecraft, this feature may also give other characters the chance to get some ideas from other peoples creations and new ideas will be made all the time. The game may have a notifier, this means when you are playing the game and you complete a certain bit then the game may display a notification on your profile saying what you have achieved. This means friends who are playing on their games will see what you have achieved and ma try and bat your score. The game will be available on multiple languages on request; this means people who speak forging languages will be able to request games which speak their language. This means the game will become global. The game will have 3D graphics; this means that the user will get the full effect of the game. They will be able to see all around them and see their environment. It also means that when the character is walking around you can see if any dangerous weapons or other characters coming for you. The game will have a tutorial mode which you can practice fighting and shooting different things; there will be written and verbal instructions on the screen telling you what to do. They will tell you about the bad guys and good guys in the game and they will tell you the aims of the missions and what you shouldnt and should do.

Star Horizon: Main Characters Wolf: Wolf/Age 25 The leader of the mercenary team Aero Wolf and the protagonist of the game. His true name is unknown, but he has earned the respect of many high ranking military officials both through his fathers name and his own. He is a genetic marvel as he is an exact copy of his father physically and can recall memories and experiences that from his ancestors. This has allowed him to learn and perfect new skills in a very short amount of time. He has always held a grudge against Kruger for the murder of his father and he says that he wont rest until Kruger is dead. After his fathers death he inherited his ship and took up the mercenary name Aero Wolf. When he learned about Kruger arming the HYENA faction, wolf took the mission to kill Griim and Kruger without any questions. Kenita Jackson: Husky/Age 24 A Rakuen operative and one of the best soldiers in the Rakuen army. She has become one of the most skilled operatives with any weapon and vehicle. She joined the team to atone for her last mission that ended with the death of her sister. She believes one of the HYENA generals was responsible and wont stop until she finds the one who killed her sister. Ed Hargreen: Hyena/Age 29 a former tank commander before the HYENA risen to power; Ed was regarded as a great soldier with a good sense of humour. However, after refusing to join the HYENA faction his wife and child where murdered by Griim.

Him and Riggsure formed escaped the hyena home world and formed the Hyena Liberation Army. Ed because increasingly antisocial and depressed thinking about the death of his family. Once he heard that aero wolf where going to stop Griim he joined as he knew he would have more chance avenging his family with team Aero Wolf than he would if he stayed with the H.L.A. Him took an instant liking to wolf as the both have very similar goals that they can achieve without clashing with one another. They both agree that wolf can have Kruger, but Griim is for Ed to kill. Cooper Tomm: Husky/Age 25 wolfs best friend and most trusted member of Aero Wolf. He has known wolf since he was young making him a very loyal friend. He is known to be cocky when it comes to fighting and sometimes lets it get to the best of him, making stupid mistakes that has put his and wolfs life in jeopardy. He gets along well with the rest of the team especial the female members. However, he has an unnecessary hatred towards Ed for the simple fact that he is a hyena. He sometimes makes it difficult for the team to co-operate as he will blame anyone accept for himself and wolf.

Red Lecky: Fox/Age 23 a funny and good hearted kind of guy who enjoys keeping the rest of the team in as good mood. He does not have a proper motive for fighting in the war apart from helping to end it. He is the kind of person who can turn the most useless person and make something out of them, which is why he convinced wolf to recruit Alex despite being practically useless to the strength of the team. Vel Blackburn: Badger/Age 27 one of the most dedicated member of the entire team. He had been with wolf and Cooper since the beginning and continues to serve with them. He was one of the most decorative cadets in the flight academy and became a must have pilot for the Aero Wolf team. He does not socialise with the team most of the time because he is too busy in the cockpit. Jackal: Jackal/Age 26 a very skilled assassin who focused his training mainly on the art of Close Quarter Combat and the art of sniping. He was hired only by the Rakuen army to assassinate high valued targets, but after his parents and younger brother where murdered by corrupt mercenaries, he became a bounty hunter and tried to hunt down those responsible for his familys death. He became very antisocial during the year and finds it very hard to trust others. He was sceptical at first when joining team aero wolf but learned to trust most of the members especially wolf. He became very protective towards Alex as he is the youngest member of the team and reminds him of his younger brother. However he does not trust Monroe on bit as he suspects her to be sabotaging the team equipment and leaking vital information to the HYENA faction, but he has found no evidence to back up his hunches.

Lydia Monroe: Fox/ Age 29 a highly skilled operative the Rakuen army and very strong willed. As soon as she joined the team she began to make changes that the rest of the team found very frustrating. Unlike the rest of the team, she takes ranks very seriously and talks down to the rest of the team apart from wolf. Although she has proven to be a very vital addition to the team suspicious things have happened to the team since she joined. Alex Redding: Cat/Age 19 after team aero wolf helped save his planet, Alex practically begged to join the team despite having no military training or knowledge. Whereas the rest of the team turned him down, Red Lecky explained to the team that he will need co-pilot to use the guns on the drop ship. Alex was allowed on the to on the condition that Red trains him to operate the drop ships weaponry. Although he is practically the most useless member of the team he manages to impress the members with his abilities to learn new skills in such a short time period-something him and wolf have in common. Scott Mashika: German Shepard/age 25 one of the first team members along with Cooper and vel. He is extremely loyal to the team and a close friend to cooper. Although he his is the most relaxed and laid back member of the team, he can hold his own when it comes to a fire fight. He is the kind of guy who wants to be friends with everyone and hopes that one day war will be a thing of the past. General Forman: Doberman/Age 47 the General of the Rakuen army and a friend to wolf. He is considered one of greatest military leaders of all time as he helped turn the Rakuen army into one of the most elite forces ever known, allowing the planet and its settlers to live in peace for over 15 years with a single war. Before his deathForman would hire wolfs father for classified missions to keep any faction from attacking the planet. He then turned to wolf once he became of age and took his fathers place. Forman makes sure that his men come first in any situation which has increased his popularity among the troops and their families. Everyone on Rakuen feels safe with Forman in charge, but he fears he will not be able to keep the peace when the HYENA faction comes. General Riggsure: Hyena/Age 39 considered to be one of the most elite commanders of the Croctutian army after excessive training and his great knowledge of tactics. He was the first to form a resistance when the HYENA faction began to take over. Unfortunately, he was completely outnumbered and out gunned and lost many of the resistance. Before he fled, he helped his apprentice Ed Hargreen escape the planet before they were both executed for treason. As soon as left the planet Riggsure and Ed rounded up the rest of the out casted hyenas and formed the Hyena Liberation Army. Patriarch Griim: Hyena/Age 39 the ruler and dictator of the HYENA faction. After acquiring Kruger his lust for power got the better of him and used Krugger to help him take of the hyena home world of Crocutia. He is feared for having no

compassion, leaving no one alive and for crushing anyone that tries to oppose him. he blames the Rakuen army for the death of his parents many years ago, so by using is military knowledge, the HYENA faction and Kruggers technology, he believe that he will be able to invade Rakuen. Kruger: Panther/Age 47 a brilliant mind that allowed money to get the better of him. Kruger was praised for his outstanding knowledge of science that allowed him to create powerful weapon and vehicles for the Rakuen army, giving them the upper hand to anyone who opposed them. Unfortunately, Krugger was asked to design new weaponry for a rouge faction with the promise of money beyond what Rakuen was paying him. He accepted, hoping he could earn extra money without any consequences if he played his cards right. However, he was discovered by Forman and was to be executed by wolfs father and his team. With the use of new weaponry, Krugger defeated the mercenary team and killed wolfs father himself. Many years later, Krugger became a slave to Griim as he was forced to create advanced weapons for Griims army without pay or freedom. Kruger: Panther/Age 47 a brilliant mind that allowed money to get the better of him. Kruger was praised for his outstanding knowledge of science that allowed him to

create powerful weapon and vehicles for the Rakuen army, giving them the upper hand to anyone who opposed them. Unfortunately, Krugger was asked to design new weaponry for a rouge faction with the promise of money beyond what Rakuen was paying him. He accepted, hoping he could earn extra money without any consequences if he played his cards right. However, he was discovered by Forman and was to be executed by wolfs father and his team. With the use of new weaponry, Krugger defeated the mercenary team and killed wolfs father himself. Many years later, Krugger became a slave to Griim as he was forced to create advanced weapons for Griims army without pay or freedom. Main Characters Wolf: Wolf/Age 25 the leader of the mercenary team Aero Wolf and the protagonist of the game. His true name is unknown, but he has earned the respect of many high ranking military officials both through his fathers name and his own. He is a genetic marvel as he is an exact copy of his father physically and can recall memories and experiences that from his ancestors. This has allowed him to learn and perfect new skills in a very short amount of time. He has always held a grudge against Kruger for the murder of his father and he says that he wont rest until Kruger is dead. After his fathers death he inherited his ship and took up the mercenary name Aero Wolf. When he learned about Kruger arming the HYENA faction, wolf took the mission to kill Griim and Kruger without any questions.

Kenita Jackson: Husky/Age 24 A Rakuen operative and one of the best soldiers in the Rakuen army. She has become one of the most skilled operatives with any weapon and vehicle. She joined the team to atone for her last mission that ended with the death of her sister. She believes one of the HYENA generals was responsible and wont stop until she finds the one who killed her sister.

Ed Hargreen: Hyena/Age 29 a former tank commander before the HYENA risen to power; Ed was regarded as a great soldier with a good sense of humour. However, after refusing to join the HYENA faction his wife and child where murdered by Griim. Him and Riggsure formed escaped the hyena home world and formed the Hyena Liberation Army. Ed because increasingly antisocial and depressed thinking about the death of his family. Once he heard that aero wolf where going to stop Griim he joined as he knew he would have more chance avenging his family with team Aero Wolf than he would if he stayed with the H.L.A. Him took an instant liking to wolf as the both have very similar goals that they can achieve without clashing with one another. They both agree that wolf can have Kruger, but Griim is for Ed to kill.

Cooper Tomm: Husky/Age 25 wolfs best friend and most trusted member of Aero Wolf. He has known wolf since he was young making him a very loyal friend. He is known to be cocky when it comes to fighting and sometimes lets it get to the best of him, making stupid mistakes that has put his and wolfs life in jeopardy. He gets along well with the rest of the team especial the female members. However, he has an unnecessary hatred towards Ed for the simple fact that he is a hyena. He sometimes makes it difficult for the team to co-operate as he will blame anyone accept for himself and wolf. Red Lecky: Fox/Age 23 a funny and good hearted kind of guy who enjoys keeping the rest of the team in as good mood. He does not have a proper motive for fighting in the war apart from helping to end it. He is the kind of person who can turn the most useless person and make something out of them, which is why he convinced wolf to recruit Alex despite being practically useless to the strength of the team. Vel Blackburn: Badger/Age 27 one of the most dedicated member of the entire team. He had been with wolf and Cooper since the beginning and continues to serve with them. He was one of the most decorative cadets in the flight academy and became a must have pilot for the Aero Wolf team. He does not socialise with the team most of the time because he is too busy in the cockpit.

Jackal: Jackal/Age 26 a very skilled assassin who focused his training mainly on the art of Close Quarter Combat and the art of sniping. He was hired only by the Rakuen army to assassinate high valued targets, but after his parents and younger brother where murdered by corrupt mercenaries, he became a bounty hunter and tried to hunt down those responsible for his familys death. He became very antisocial during the year and finds it very hard to trust others. He was sceptical at first when joining team aero wolf but learned to trust most of the members especially wolf. He became very protective towards Alex as he is the youngest member of the team and reminds him of his younger brother. However he does not trust Monroe on bit as he suspects her to be sabotaging the team equipment and leaking vital information to the HYENA faction, but he has found no evidence to back up his hunches. Lydia Monroe: Fox/ Age 29 a highly skilled operative the Rakuen army and very strong willed. As soon as she joined the team she began to make changes that the rest of the team found very frustrating. Unlike the rest of the team, she takes ranks very seriously and talks down to the rest of the team apart from wolf. Although she has proven to be a very vital addition to the team suspicious things have happened to the team since she joined. Alex Redding: Cat/Age 19 after team aero wolf helped save his planet, Alex practically begged to join the team despite having no military training or knowledge. Whereas the rest of the team turned him down, Red Lecky explained to the team that he will need co-pilot to use the guns on the drop ship. Alex was allowed on the team on the condition that Red trains him to operate the drop ships weaponry. Although he is practically the most useless member of the team he manages to impress the members with his abilities to learn new skills in such a short time periodsomething him and wolf have in common. Scott Mashika: German Shepard/age 25 one of the first team members along with Cooper and vel. He is extremely loyal to the team and a close friend to cooper. Although he his is the most relaxed and laid back member of the team, he can hold his own when it comes to a fire fight. He is the kind of guy who wants to be friends with everyone and hopes that one day war will be a thing of the past. General Forman: Doberman/Age 47 the General of the Rakuen army and a friend to wolf. He is considered one of greatest military leaders of all time as he helped turn the Rakuen army into one of the most elite forces ever known, allowing the planet and its settlers to live in peace for over 15 years with a single war. Before his deathForman would hire wolfs father for classified missions to keep any faction from attacking the planet. He then turned to wolf once he became of age and took his fathers place. Forman makes sure that his men come first in any situation which has increased his popularity among the troops and their families. Everyone on Rakuen feels safe with Forman in charge, but he fears he will not be able to keep the peace when the HYENA faction comes.

General Riggsure: Hyena/Age 39 considered to be one of the most elite commanders of the Croctutian army after excessive training and his great knowledge of tactics. He was the first to form a resistance when the HYENA faction began to take over. Unfortunately, he was completely outnumbered and out gunned and lost many of the resistance. Before he fled, he helped his apprentice Ed Hargreen escape the planet before they were both executed for treason. As soon as left the planet Riggsure and Ed rounded up the rest of the out casted hyenas and formed the Hyena Liberation Army. Patriarch Griim: Hyena/Age 39 the ruler and dictator of the HYENA faction. Mechanics In the campaign mode players will earn points depending how well they do in a level and this will then be able to be converted to money. They will be able to earn more points from the number of enemies kill and the manner in which you kill them so for example a headshot with a pistol could earn more points than a standard kill with a sniper. Also stealth kills would be able to earn more points so the better and more impressive the kill carries out the more points earned and the more kill the more points a player is able to earn. Also players will earn points when they have killed a boss at the end of a major level. The better they kill a boss the more points they will be able to earn so for example the more health a player has left the more points and the manner in which they kill the boss will earn more points so like stated above the slicker and more impressive the kill the more points earned. Also players will have to find a balance between getting a lot of kills and the time taken as the shorter the time taken for a player to complete a level the more points they earn however if a player waits a long time in a level trying to get as many kills as possible that would limit their chances of getting as many points as possible for time bonus. Players also get more points by earning more achievements and harder achievements will earn more points. This will also however to earn points from this take a lot longer to carry out and get as many points. Players for each level of difficulty harder will earn 25% however if they go on a level of difficulty to hard they may end up earning less points than on the next level of difficulty down as they may not be able to get as many kills and use more health packs. The last method players have of earning points is by using less health and grenade packs will earn players more points so it is better to pick up and use less as it makes a level significantly easier and the way to earn more points is by completing levels with more skill. These points players earn will then be used to be able to purchase upgrades. There will be many weapon upgrades such as better sights to be able to complete longer distance kills so the sight will allow more zoom to a limited extent and increase the clarity so it will be easier to see the enemy players want to kill. Also many other attachments will be available such as a silencer. Next type of upgrade will be that players can have an upgrade so there will be. Less recoil which will increase the accuracy of the shots as it will move away less when taking a shot. This will then make it more likely that where you aim you will hit. Also available will be the ability for weapons to cause more damage. Also available will be the ability to increase the magazine size and use other methods to give the weapon used more fire power and lastly the ability to change the ammo type used so different ammo types will be able to carry out more damage however may take longer to reload and slower to shoot

but can cause more damage. However there is the chance that if weapons arent upgraded properly players can cause a weapon to get worse by making it less accurate and also causing it to jam more with different ammo used. Also players have the ability to upgrade the armor they have and change the way it looks. This is possible as players can get shield upgrades so players can get different strength armor but the armor may be heavier so players for example could get steel armor however this would be weaker and weigh more than carbon fibre and titanium so players with steel armor wouldnt be able to take as much damage and would be slower but to get carbon fibre armor would cost a lot more points. Also with armor players can customize their appearance and this armor will have different affects such as speed or strength or health. This is possible as players can get different types of armor, different material armor. Players can also customise their armor once they have purchased it to change the colour and material and how it looks to make it better. Players will also earn XP from how they go about the game and how they carry out kills and other abilities and these can be determined by the weapons they use and are a way they develop a bit of a character and personality so there will be three different personalities. These will be sprint which will be determined by carrying out stealth fast and skillful undetected kills. They can get health upgrades by using close combat harder face to face close combat. Lastly players will be able to improve their strength by melee attacks. As players go through the game they will be able to carry out more upgrades on each of these abilities and these upgrades will become much more apparent later on so players will be much better at a certain killing method and specialise however they could also try carrying out different kills with different methods so they will be not as good at any method of killing however they will be much more adaptable depending on who they are aggainst to carry out different types of kills. These different characteristics will be carried across to multiplayer and will be able to be improved and also players can choose what type of species they are only in multiplayer mode. This will mean that players will be able to change to species from different planets however to encourage players to play in the campaign mode more they will only be able to play as certain species by unlocking them in the campaign mode once they have either seen them or actually completed that planet. This will encourage players to play through the campaign mode much more than they otherwise would to be able to unlock each of these different species to play as in multiplayer mode. Story Prologue: The brilliant scientist Kruger is hired by a rouge faction to create weapons against the planet of Rakuen. When Rakuen learn of the terrorist threat and Krugers defection they send the mercenary team Aero Wolf to eradicate the faction and capture Kruger. The team are outnumbered, captured and executed. Rakuen then

send a large force as a second attempt which is deemed a success. With the faction illuminated and Kruger captured, Rakuen try to decide what to do with him. They realise that Kruger is too dangerous to be held in a prison on Rakuen after a number of escape attempts. Griim representing the hyena home world of Crocutia explains that Kruger will be safer in a prison on his planet as the hyenas have some of the highest secured prisons in the system. Everyone agrees that this is the best cause of action and Kruger is sent the Crocutia with Griim. 10 years later: Codename: Wolf has inherited his fathers ship and continues the Aero Wolf mercenary unit with his own team. They become highly praised by the Rakuen army for their attempts at keeping the local system safe from terrorist and other threats. 5 years later: A civil war engulfs the planet of Crocutia between two hyena factions. One of those factions is led by Griim. Eventually Griims faction overthrows the opposing faction and takes power of the planet Crocutia and its army. The hyenas that rebel against Griim are exiled away from their home world. The Hyena Liberation Army is formed. Griim then forms the HYENA Faction to remove the H.L.A and decides he wants to take over the rest of the system. Rakuen learn of Griims rise to power and realise Kruger is supplying the weapons for the HYENA faction. Soon reports of large hyena forces invading distant colonies come in, Rakuen prepare for war. Aero Wolf team are called upon to assist taking the colonies back from the HYENA. They must recruit specialists to make their team larger and stronger. They set out the recruit their first new member of the team. The must travel across the galaxy to other planet and space stations in order to gather the entire team. However, they will receive mission objective along the way to assist any local alliance from the HYENA faction. They will also need to work together to take down the HYENA Generals that are commanding the invading forces. Environments In the game you have a different environment for every game, for example halo the environment is futuristic set in the future. And in the need for speed the environment is a road in different cities and places in the world. In Star Horizon the game will have a variety of environments like planets and space the, earth and the lava filled craters. Different environments can damage or either hurt the character, for example if the character was under water then they would have a certain amount of time before they would drown. Then if

they are damaged and they are in a environment which is high in oxygen then there health will rise faster than just a normal environment. When in the environment you can get health to help you get better if you are hurt. The different environments will have different colours to make the game more exciting, the environments may have falling debris which may also damage the character. The environments will be on different planets, this means that on one planet it will be really cold and icy, then on another planet it will be city scape and lots of buildings. On one planet the environment will be a desert and will be really sandy and hard to walk in because of the light and heat. Lots of metal and reflective things will shine the sun light into your eyes this means it might make it harder for the character to shoot something. The different environments will also have different dangers for example in the desert you will have giant scorpions and snakes, then on the ice planet you will have to watch out for polar bears and death eating ice sharks. However in the city scape planet you must look for out for other characters and fast moving vehicles which may run you over. One environment will be in the forest where it would be scenic and this would be a significant location in the game as there is a lot of life this would feature HLA, Rakuen and Aerowolf meeting up due the environment being abundant in life and also it would be able to look very impressive because of the environment.
