Miniature ABB Circuit Breakers.

ABB miniature circuit breakers offer a compact solution to protection requirements. For branch protection ABB offers the S500 series. S500 is equipped with a thermal and/or electromagnetic release to protect circuits, motors, switchgear and systems from the effects of overload and short-circuit currents. For supplemental protection, The S2 is available with application-specific trip characteristics to provide maximum circuit protection. The breakers offer thermal-magnetic trip protection according to B, C, D, K and Z characteristics. Molded Case ABB Circuit Breakers.

ABB offers an entire range of molded case circuit breakers which cover current ratings between 15 A - 2500 A and interrupting ratings, at 480 VAC, which can reach 150 kA @480 VAC. All ABB circuit breakers in accordance with the UL 489 and CSA C22.2 Standard can be used in installations with wye or delta distribution systems since use of the circuit breaker at 480 V AC is guaranteed. ABB molded case circuit breakers ensure high performances in extremely small and compact dimensions. Thanks to the double insulation technique, with all ABB molded case circuit breakers, the electrical accessories can be mounted safely with the circuit breaker installed. ABB Manual Motor Starters.

ABB manual motor starters eliminate the need for individual short-circuit protective devices such as fuses. This saves both installation expense and panel space. ABB manual motor starters are UL listed and CSA approved for use in group installations of motors. For single motor applications, ABB manual motor starters provide overload protection as required by Article 430 of the National Electrical Code. Control is provided by manual operation of the contacts; overload protection is provided by an adjustable bimetallic trip mechanism. ABB manual motor starters provide motor protection and disconnect method in a fraction of the space required for traditional components.
