Honeywell HomMed Advances Patient Quality of Care Through Range of eHealth Technologies
ORLANDO Oct. 22, 2012 Honeywell (NYSE: HON) HomMeds products and services featured in Booth #1019 at the 2012 National Association for Home Care and Hospice (NAHC) Convention continue to enhance the quality of care for patients, families and care providers, while improving productivity for clinicians and physicians. Every innovation were spotlighting this year at NAHC reflects what Honeywell HomMed has consistently brought to the marketplace products and services that reduce the overall costs of healthcare while simultaneously increasing the quality of patient care, said John Bojanowski, president of Honeywell HomMed. At NAHC 2012Honeywell representatives will demonstrate for attendees how the companys eHealth products and services are positively impacting the healthcare industry with four discussions in its booth throughout the day on Wednesday, October 24: 10 a.m.: How Mobility is Changing the Way We Remotely Monitor Patients: Stacey Force, director of commercial marketing, Honeywell HomMed, will provide an overview of mobility in the eHealth industry, and demonstrate how Honeywell products and services are changing the way patients are monitored remotely. 11 a.m.: Healthcare Reform & eHealth: Force will describe the new ways in which eHealth is earning its mettle in the healthcare reform initiative. 1 p.m.: The Proof is in the Power of Touch: Force will show the success of Honeywells new Genesis Touch tablet using newly available customer data.

Honeywell HomMed will also be showcasing the beta version of its new web site in the booth during exhibition hours, where show attendees can learn hands-on about its new interactive features and provide feedback to HomMed. After incorporating feedback from both internal and external reviewers, the revised web site will go live as of November 15, following the NAHC convention. In addition, the company will feature Quick Response (QR) codes at each of its exhibit areas, to provide show attendees with additional information on each of the products and services areas in the Honeywell booth, accessible via mobile devices. The Honeywell HomMed booth at the NAHC convention will feature products and services designed to address some of healthcares most significant challenges from reducing emergency department admissions and hospital re-admissions to providing increased visibility to a patient as they move between care environments and improved quality of patient care.

Genesis Family of Monitors The newest addition to the Genesis family of monitors, the Genesis Touch, is an FDA-cleared wireless remote patient monitor. The newest version of the Touch will be on display in the booth, and includes new features such as Spanish language and scheduled biometrics. The Genesis DM monitors will also be on display, which provide patients and healthcare providers with all the benefits industry users have come to expect from Honeywell easy-to-use systems which provide a robust view of patient health through complete remote biometric and vital sign collection. LifeStream Management Suite Honeywell HomMed is also featuring the newest release (v4.10) of one of its leading eHealth platform solutions LifeStream Management Suite a robust software platform that provides the behind-the-scenes support network for HomMeds personal health devices. LifeStream Management Suite was created and designed around the need for improved workflows among healthcare providers. LifeStream MobileHelp Honeywell will also be demonstrating LifeStream MobileHelp a mobile Personal Emergency Response System (mPERS), which integrates with the LifeStream Management Suite. The system offers enhanced user flexibility by providing the choice of a mobile unit, a base station (landline) unit, or both, and a pendant. A push of the button automatically connects the user to an emergency operator, who can send help to the users exact location.
