Since connectivity is established via a Linkstar hub, universal satellite modems can be used. After service activation, data from your network or your computer will be transferred to transponders of the Eutelsat W3A satellite. A 1.8m dish is used to receive their signal. The service includes 24h network monitoring in satellite company centres. Guaranteed uptime is 99.5% a year. Eutelsat W3A is a perfect solution for Wi-Fi networks. Satellite brings broadband capability to your area - Wi-Fi relays the signals to antennas installed at customers homes, at business premises and by municipal services. In this case you can share access and costs between all users of Wi-Fi network. Wi-Fi technology ("Wireless Fidelity") is used to extend the satellite Internet access facility to all interested users who have fitted their computer with a Wi-Fi card. All that is needed is a small antenna. Cabling is unnecessary.
