Students will be introduced to the different elements of music and be given the opportunity to experiment with these and make informed creative choices.

Classroom Organisation

Pupils will have identified and discriminated between the elements of music;dynamics,tempo,texture,pitch,duration,timbre. They will have made some attempt to combine these elements in creating a group sound piece.

Ask class about elements of music . Brainstorm in groups what music is made up of.Take each element in turn and explore using a tuned or untuned instrument. Dynamics,tempo,texture,timbre,duration,pitch.
