Mission: The mission of a Toastmasters club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every individual member has the opportunity to develop oral communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth. Induction of New Member: Members of Okefenokee Toastmasters Club were happy to welcome walk-in visitor Pastor Jeff Carr (right) to a club meeting on July 18th at Quality Inn in Waycross. Now Jeff, seen here receiving his Toastmasters pin from his club mentor Bud Montero, is the newest member of our club and a very active one. He has already represented the club in a Humorous Speech contest sharing hilarious incidents that occurred when he was a Call Center Operator.
