Id go to church but.. Excuse #1: Im too busy. Answer: Were all busy. But we have time for what is really important to us. How we use our time indicates what our priorities really are. Rather than Im too busy a more honest answer would be the Gospel really isnt very important to me". Excuse #2: you dont have to go to church to be a Christian. Answer: According to the Bible you do. Christianity is not just a personal moral code, but a new life lived in community. St. Paul who wrote more books in the Bible than anyone else, says that the Church is the body of Christ and individual Christians are parts of that body". An individual can no more be Christian without the Church than a finger can live without the body. The church is a team. Just as it is really difficult to play hockey by yourself, its really hard to be a Christian alone. Excuse #3:...the church is full of hypocrites. Answer: Come anyway, there is always room for one more. What can be more hypocritical than passing judgement on others and their motives and setting oneself up as better.

SUNDAY OFFERING: October 28, 2012 $3,758.00 Thank you for your ongoing and generous support of the parish.
