1. Consider a 10-Bit register. a. What is the total number of combinations the register can store? [1] b. What is the range of the register using normal representation? [2] c. What is the range of the register using twos complementation? [3] d. Subtract 30010 from 40010 in binary. [3] e. The number 239310 cannot be stored in this register. Explain why. [1] f. What happens if the number 102310 which is stored in the register is increased by 510? [2]

g. Store 7310 in the register, then apply left shift to it. [2]
