The advantages of the email can be derived into two points. The first advantage is that the communication becomes easier and faster. In email, there is an attachment application which can be used for sending files, pictures or videos in a certain capacity. This application is really help people in workplace. For instance is a secretary can send the material of the meeting to her boss while he still at home. And later, the boss will give the feedback immediately if there is something needed to be corrected. Another benefit is that using an email can make communication cheaper and easier. Instead of sending a letter like when the email was not exist yet, using the email is less cost and it is not time consuming. For instance in social life is when a daughter lives separately far away from her parents, the email can be sent to give news at that time and no need more money to buy an envelope or stamps. On the other hand, the email also has disadvantages. The first one is due to the faster reply (in minutes or in hours) or received many emails in one day, the email can cause extra work. People will feel stress when they see hundreds email in their inbox and they should delete the unnecessary emails that content advertisements or even junk emails. Furthermore, the email can increase pressure. Faster repeated means that it makes people get a faster response. For instance is the work load become bigger and bigger because the boss sends and replies the email in hours to his secretary. It means that the secretary will have a lot of tasks. In addition, she will always wait the respond in front of the computer that will make her eyes and her body tired. Another disadvantage is upcoming email from everywhere can allow viruses into IT system. For instance is there are bad people in out there called hacker can send junk emails that consist of viruses or the email can be received from others without a filter. These will harm the computer. In conclusion, it is true that the email can help people in workplace and social life. It gives advantages in communication and getting information. But it cannot be denied also that it has bad effects. But overall, the advantages can cover the disadvantage and the disadvantages can be handled.
