Black

By: Prae 8D

Im hatred and depression torment and deprive. I hear peoples sorrows and taste their weeps and tears. Feeling sad, hurt or pointless? Ill devour your gloomy mind whole! I turn flowers into knives, rainbows into storms. Smiles into frowns, and sweet into bitter. Im hatred and depression, I feel your dispirits and upsets. WHOOSH! Ill suck you in a hostile hole because I am black.

Wow, what an intense poem! Good job creating the mood using dark and depressing diction. I like the way you personified black and make him the speaker. Also the second stanza is particularly effective in showing his character and effect on things. Great onomatopoeia in the end and alliteration as well!
