Problem is Not Democrats or Republicans; Its the Christian Church!

(Prophetic Message Received by Paula Matthews November 8, 2012)

The Spirit of God awakened me this morning continuing a conversation about overthrowing the church. He talked about how the eyes of the leadership have been blinded by politics, personal ambition, religious err and racism. Others have tunneled their vision to see only Israel and have no notion of what God is doing in America. The Lord said that the church has forgotten how to love. They don't love God nor the brethren. These religious people are ruled by hatred: hatred for Jews, for gays, and all minorities. They despise the poor and unfortunate among us. They hate and despise everyone that God is desperately reaching out to in this hour. People are trying to get into the Kingdom, but the Church is intentionally blocking the way because they are not entering themselves. The Church refuses to obey God. The analogy the Lord gave me was that of Jonah and the great fish. Jonah was told to go into Nineveh and speak the word of the Lord so that the people could repent before judgment came on the city; but Jonah refused to obey God. In his heart, he felt that Nineveh was too sinful and not worthy of being saved; so he got on a boat and sailed for Tarshish. The Lord sent a storm that caused the people on the boat to realize that this was the judgment of God coming upon them. Jonah confessed that the storm came because of his disobedience and they threw him overboard. Jonah was swallowed up by a great fish, and it was in that anguish and pain that he repented. The fish released him and he went to Nineveh; and the people turned to God and repented. Jonah was angry because the people repented and God had to chastise him again. In America, our Jonah is the Church; and God is about to send a storm to have them overthrown. Here's what God revealed. The division in America is not between Democrats and Republicans; it's between the Church and America. Rather than obeying and reaching Americans with the truth of God's Kingdom, the Church decided that politics was a more powerful weapon against the people. So they aligned themselves with the Republican Party for the express purposes of tearing our nation apart. The Church doesn't want America to come into the Kingdom and prosper. They "fast and pray vehemently against America and her leaders." Here is what the Church does not understand. The American people are praying too! God has spoke prosperity and increase for our nation; but the Church is blocking the way. The cries of the American people have reached the ears of God. They are hurting and suffering and God himself will bring them relief even if it means overthrowing the Church. God will demonstrate his love to those who are calling on his name; and it's not the Church who is calling him. It's the American people who are calling God and pressing to get into the Kingdom!
